Someone said England were the best fielding side in the world! Not fielding like one, are they?

Englands fielding top class? yeah right![]()
World-class innings
See above. Same to yourself.
What a chance missed by England here. 15/3 and have almost let them score 300.
Might cost them the game.
Its on a track at home, nothing new! Mahela specialises in scoring fanciful hundreds at home.
Plus if england could actually catch!
Good comeback by Sri Lanka, but England should still feel confident of getting a big first innings lead.
Aah taking out your frustration on me? Understandable but utterly poor in taste coming from someone who is a mod now. Are you threatening me or advising me?
and there goes their #1 ranking![]()
jimmy's expressions in your avatar is priceless![]()
Not frustrated. Just explaining for others that your opinion is poorly formed and redundant, because you haven't watched much at all of the day let alone the full day, and are just making a useless trolling comment. Nothing more.

I'm not so sure. It is fairly obvious Jawardene struggles on bouncy or seaming pitches. He averages in the low 30's/ high 20's in Oz, in Nz, in Sa & in England.
He is pretty much seen as a flat track bully here in oz.
Sangakarra gets much more respect.
thanks.Anderson was very good, Broad/Patel/Monty were okay, Swann was pants, the out-cricket was excellent until Monty's dropped catches
Monty was fielding pretty well against us back then, Wonder what happened?
The great Mahela. What a player. The next highest score is 27. The awesomeness of that cannot be over emphasized.
Agreed. England bowled and fielded to a high standard for most of the day. The decisive factors between 200 and 300 all out will be Jayawardene's brilliance and Monty's dropped chances.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't someone by the name of C. Bannerman also score 160 odd (was it 168?) in the first Test of them all and this innings holds the world record for a batsman scoring the highest percentage of his teams runs. I believe it was over 60% of the runs for his team. Jaya is around the 58% mark right now. Whippy, Ruri, fix the mistakes in my post if you know what I'm talking about.
Good angle, didn't think of that. Gooch carrying the bat against West Indies had a pretty good percentage, not sure what the top ten are though.
LOL England vs SL ... it's really tough for me to decide which team I want to see losing.
With lots of pain and agony, Go Lanka Go.(thank you, very much Pom media)
5 for Jimmy, takes Jayawardene! And you all said that Jimmy wouldn't do well in the SC!
Played on, another 'it's not your day' dismissal
their 'days' dont seem to come along too often in asia at the moment5 down i reckon
No mystery spinners like ajmal, murali etc. he'll do well. Has the technique and shots against spin and moves his feet accordingly in order to counter spin on these subcontinent surfaces.Bell is playing the spinners absolutely brilliantly. Great shots.
:hopefullynotjinx
ah prior out too. Bell the man of crisis (finally)?![]()
