NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!

Played SL. Their bowlers used the conditions better. Deserving winners.

Excellent series. Shows once again why tests are the best.

Oh, and..... batted Beard2BFeared!

Eranga to Anderson, OUT, short ball, Anderson fends it off and loops a catch to backward square!!! Can you believe it! Eranga has pulled it off, a snorter that Anderson couldn't keep down for once and popped up a simple catch, what a disaster for Anderson after all that effort and what jubilation for Sri Lanka

Anderson was looking uncomfortable against short ball and I thought it was a huge mistake form Ali to let him face last 6 balls. Well played inning by young man though. Showed some character.

what can you say?

amazing finishes in both tests, you feel for ali he didn't deserve to be on the losing side after a knock like that.

Well done to SL, imo up with the biggest series win they have ever had.

Undoubtedly. They have beaten Pakistan many times in Pakistan so nothing special there. They have won in NZ. I think this one takes the cake for SL due to being in Eng.

Sanga/Jaya finishing their career on real highs unlike Indian Greats who ended their careers on epic losses.

Anderson always gets out to the short ball in such a manner.

England top order must take the blame, rash shots in yesterday's last session meant lower order was put under far too much pressure.

The 1999 win in SL over us(aussies) was huge but generally SL have really struggled badly outside asia so to beat one of the big boys on their own turf is just massive.

That was massive given the opposition but I was mainly counting their away series.

Spare a thought for Ali.Played a gem of an innings.

Certainly not the new blood for england that let them down in this series, cook and his senior experienced core just didn't get the job done when it mattered most.

And in the last few years it's been everybody not just SL struggling away which makes this win for them even bigger.

Anderson emotional crying showing true passion

Anderson in tears. A lot of passion being showed but it really wasn't his fault that the reckless England top-order helped to put him in such a position.

haha true but i do feel for Jimmy must be gut wrenching to lose a game like that

Yeah jokes aside he actually showed a lot of guts today as he did back in cardiff.

Yeah, I really feel for the bloke. He gave everything he had after the top order let him down.

As a Lankan, even made me feel quite upset watching Anderson. Guy is a true fighter and hope he destroys the Indian batting lineup.

Anderson actually ended the series with the most wickets at 21.5 each which is astonishing as he didn't seem to bowl that well overall
