Lakmal sucks.
His bowling first and second fingers tooSL's best spin bowler goes. Fractured fingers for sure
LOL Mahlea doing the post inning interview instead of Mathews

Dilshan should have bowled at the dead last 5 in tandem with Hearth who should have finished his 10 over spell
Dilshan didn't too bad in the end did he, certainly better then the seamers. In fact i think it wouldnt be beyond lanka if matthews deliberately told lakmal to bowl that full toss so he could be taken off and dilshan could come on. They saved like 15-18 runs there from those last 3 balls
Good effort from England.
As usual, Dilshan and Sanga are the key. If these 2 fail, Lanka will face a massive defeat.
Blessing in disguise maybe? Tharindu Kaushal pls!
I think south asians teams naturally suck at fielding.
Lakmal is a good bowler, he's been our best pacer for some time now. But he bowls like a dunce every 4-5 game. No way Mathews was gonna get a part timer spinner to bowl at the death.

Exactly. Malinga was used way too early.
India is a good fielding side.
In that particular situation Dilshan was the better option imo because Malingas overs had been wasted early on and England tend to struggle with their timing against slow bowling from the word go and Herath/Dilshan did pretty well. Dilshan proved in the last 3 balls he bowled that he should have finished his quota in the last 5-10 overs. You have to think outside the box sometimes, a pressure over from a pacer is not a rule you have to follow at the death.

Lakmal is a good death bowler, Dilshan is a part timer and it is extremely risky to allow a spinner to bowl at the death because the batsmen will always look to smash. Dilshan can't change his flight like Herath so it made sense to bowl a death bowler at death rather than a part timer bowl at death just because he is bowling well. Mathews is a dunce regardless of this selection

Sub continental teams dont have the infrastructure and the grounds are often bare and substandard so its easy to understand why.Infrastructure in India has improved massively in the last 10 years so now we are a very good athletic fielding side.
Also of players from teams like Nzl/Eng/SA/Aus play multi sports during their school days like rugby or football along with Croicket. These sports need excellenet fitness less so that helps.Whereas in sub continent its only cricket which doesnt require much fitness to play at school levels
Go to sleep man, waste of time with these jokes. Im gonna take revenge on these English teams on Don Bradman Cricket 14

)
) I use to do that on Brian Lara, to complete a challenge I had to make tendulkar get a hundred to unlock something and after he got the hundred I would deliberately run him out

I never had Brain lara, had BL 99, Cricket 07, Ashes cricket 2009 and now DBC14. DBC is so hard man, especially in the first person view since the ball release doesn't exactly come out like it is in the real life and you can't pick a short ball or yorker till it has left the hand. I once hit 1000 with Sanath and Tharanga against India at the beginner level after the 2011 WC Loss![]()
Brian 2005 was a really good game, i use to have EA 04 and 07 they were good. I heard, Don Bradman is prob the best cricket game ever made? certainly the most realistic. I got the demo, can barely hit a ball in the nets lmao
