I think we have all seen umar akmal enough to know that conditions dont matter to akmal , he is a child who doesnt have a cricketing brain at all and every few balls gives a chance.

He's done well in FC, PSL and List A cricket. Deserved a go in more favourable pitches.

As I've said before either, I wouldn't mind if Pakistan selected Rizwan instead. It's just painful to watch a sub-standard cricketer lead the side and be a part of this batting line-up.

I am just surprised how quickly bowlers like Amir, Hasan, Junaid and even Shaheen in the last match become mediocre under Azhar. Hasan was in the form of his life not too long ago and in last PSL he was doing really well with new ball and under Mohammad Akram's coaching and Sammy's leadership.

Hopefully bowling can turn it around today

Azhar Ali is definetly the culprit here, no doubt. As you mentioned in an earlier post under Waqar Younis lesser ODI bowlers (Sohail Khan, Irfan and Wahab) punched above their weight in the last WC.

With Hasan Ali, I also do think is head in the clouds after the CT success (where he was MOTM).
