It's fine if players start slow, as long as they accelerate. Our batsmen mostly don't do that. They're either slog at the start and get out early given they don't play themselves in. Or they play the whole innings at a mediocre SR and don't look to accelerate. Dunno if it's something you can really teach unfortunately. Hafeez doesn't strike quick enough, and starts slow, but the one thing he can do at least is accelerate when his eye is in.
