How many Karachi players in Pak team. May be 1. I am from Lahore but i am saying because I believe its true, Punjabi Culture is currently in place for many many years. Its not about victim card here, its about principles. Whereas Sharjeel Khan, If Amir can play why not him.
 
M Akram — When Hashim Amla saw Haider Ali playing for th first time he said "He's the one". He also said for Peshawar Zalmi that Haider should play at his own position and not down th order. Whereas seniors due to experience can adjust themselves. He's future of Pakistan #ENGvPAK

Asad Shafiq and Fawad Alam were in the test team. Name some Karachi players for t20s that can replace the current ones.

I don’t rate Shaheen. And we all saw what he did in the Test series. No venom. He couldn’t do jack in the first Test.

Only if you have played cricket in your life you wouldn’t be saying it. Naseem shah will overtake bowler like Shaheen afridi. He has so much potential but he is v young in experience atm.

Which McGrath in Pak is better than him?? The truth is he is our spearhead bowler and the funny thing is hes only 20.

Naseem's action is good but it would had been better had he been as tall as SSA.. Shaeen has a massive height factor in his favor..
 
Happy that Haris is getting another game, so that he can be discarded for good without the excuse of not getting a chance. In today's world of cricket, you cannot be given 10 matches to stake your claim. Sometimes you only get 1 match like what Bairstow got a few years back and he nailed it.

Fawad got chance when he is 36 yrs old.

Look i am not biased here, just making a point here that Karachi is a big city and yet we dont find players from there, are we investing in that city to find talent.
 
May as well recall Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Sami to the T20 team for much needed experience.
 
Pakistan skipper BABAR AZAM admits that he was hoping to bowl first had he won the toss. There are also three changes for the tourists from the last match..

"We had planned to bowl first but unfortunately we lost the toss, we will try to post a good total. Haider Ali makes his debut today, then Sarfaraz Ahmed as wicketkeeper and Wahab Riaz."

Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan and the injured Mohammad Amir miss out.
 
I would have loved to see PAK chasing today, but this is probably second or third game on same wicket - batting first might not be a bad option. They bowled exceptionally poor in last game otherwise 195 is always tough to chase in T20s - the asking went above 10 after Imad's first over and then bowlers bowled rubbish. I think, today, PAK attack is better for Wahab (& Babar won't have the chance to be foolish again to bowl 3 overs with Ifti), MoHa might get a bowl today - if batsmen again puts 195 - PAK will win this one. Even 170 should be very competitive.

And, I like Sarfraz there - better T20 player than Rizwan for me.

Naseem need few months to settle in, he will deliver only SA NZL and Aus pitches in future. Does dale steyn and Anderson has big heights no.

Situation was tailor-made for him. You become big players when you win matches. Akhtar said the other day this not a school academy. You have to deliver at the very top. You are playing for a country! Not for my mohallah team.

What did he do the other day defending 195?

Tbh most of the upcoming talent is from the Northern Areas and KPK. Life is too fast in big cities especially Karachi.

Dale Steyn,Malcom Marshall are the ones below 6 that made it big..
The only reason am saying this is because Hasan ali was put in similar brackets before..but again who knows..

Hasan Ali has let me down big time. He couldve been atleast a decent bowler but, let stardom get to his head and was unlucky with injuries.

Nothern areas coach is Wasim and he is promoting youngsters and benching seniors. When youngsters get the backing and the chances they need they will prove their worth and shine.

Fakhar has ideal technique to get out in big matches. In start, he didnt have known weakness and now he is all over the place with his poor technique and lack of footwork.

I absolutely cringe at the way Zaman just stands there & stares into the oblivion like he is the reincarnation of Tendulkar & how could someone get him out. Pathetic hack keeps representing Pakistan. Needs to be booted out immediately.
 
It was a simple ball. The Hack just couldnt get bat on the ball. Absolutely criminal.

Why don't you talk about his match winning performances in the WC last year? Youngest player to take a 5-fer in a WC tournament? Best bowler on our SA tour? Forget all of that? Did that all at the age of 19.

But no he is a minnow player due to his lack of performance in this particular match, or that particular run defence, or this specific match.

The situation was tailor made for all our bowlers. None of them performed. When even Mamoon agrees he's a good player, you know you're in the minority.
 
Haider batting stance is similar to Kohli - something i noticed in the PSL as well.

Babar doesn't seem to be in good nick. Probably thinking about his claims of making first ton in the series.
 
Fakhar Zaman going the Nasir Jamshed route now. Unfortunately for him, Misbah is not going to put up with his failures anymore unlike Mickey Arthur.
