A chance for some of the players to become heroes and gain some positives from this tour, or return him empty handed and excuses explaining their inability to lose games from winning positions.

I feel Wahab Riaz or Hasnain needs to replace Mohammad Amir (probably will due to Amir injury) and Haider Ali to come in as a batsman.

Why should Haider come in for Malik?

Dont need as many anchors as there are in my opinion. Rizwan can do a similar role to Malik if necessary. Otherwise whats needed is more firepower, Iftikhar was supposed to do that but failed today. Haider is the best young batting talent Pak has produced since Babar so sooner his development process starts the better it is for Pakistan. Taste of international cricket is part of that development I think and can give him much more motivation and confidence before the upcoming FC season.

It would be pretty sad if we stay winless throughout the tour. But much worse would be to stay winless and not trying Haider as well as Shadab up the order. If they play Haider and experiment with Shadab as pinch hitter it would be pleasing to see.

Should give all the guys on bench a go here, but I know Misbah's mentality very well so don't think that will happen.

Besides whenever you see a pakistani batsman make runs easy, like Hafeez did, you know the wicket is extremely good and the opposition will bat even better.

And amazing how we have been left behind. England played without Roy, Buttler, Stokes and Archer but still looked much better.

Disastrous from Amir in particular.
Misbah needs to calm down, this is t20 and someone someday is gonna dominate a portion of the innings. Would have been more worthy to sort of back and applaud when the guys were being taken apart.

When we have so many options with bat and bowl why still we have to play imad, we could easily play extra specialist with Batting line-up so deep.

My team for next match, knowing malik isn't going anywhere, would be;

You are right but we need to try to win the match. Iftikhar was really poor in nine balls he faced and his bowling was not specteclar.

See the difference between a visionary and someone who is looking to achieve short term goal and someone who is looking for longterm. In this case England were looking for longterm goal by identifying players for future whereas Pakistan with most experienced team yet they lost the match, its all down to energy and passion to win in current 11 is missing in Pakistan team, 3 players are near 40s.

Misbah is trying his best to win series so he can save his job, but in return he is damaging Pakistan team by not allowing Youngsters to come in. I rather lose this series 3-0 but rather find 2 or 3 good players.

Haider isn't going to play. If Misbah didn't have the guts to drop a geriatric senior for him in the first game he isn't going to reverse that policy for a must-win.

I imagine we'll see Wahab come in for Amir and that's it.

In all these years Pakistan has only been able to find Asif who's been discarded for now and Iftikhar for some power hitting.

Neither have been able to have much of an impact in T20's that it should have been. Iftikhar hasn't played more than 7-8 games whereas Asif had more exposure at this level.

Sharjeel might be required if Pakistan isn't able to get firepower in the middle order as it is hard already for Imad to do so and Shadab isn't the one either.

Hasnain was highest wicket-taker in PSL 2020 with 15 wickets & has done decent in few T20I games he has played including a Hat-trick against SL.

Naseem hasn't played any T20s apart from 6 games he played for QG this year, he's also played just one List A game. He needs to play more white ball cricket before being inducted into the LOIs team. For now I would be happy if he's persisted with only in Tests.

I think Pak should open bowling with Haris Rauf. He has the pace, line and length and accuracy. It would be interesting to see if he can be a good opening bowler.

Lost everything under Arthur as well. 5-0 vs NZ, 5-0 vs Aus, 4-0 Eng (1 rained off), a disastrous Asia Cup 2018, knocked out by WI in the first match of the 2019 WC.

When did Hansain take those wickets? Wickets in the first half of the game are far more valuable than the death.

I don't think any changes will be made. Haider or Khushdil may come in for Iftekhar rather than Malik, on the basis that Malik has clearly been given the role of quasi captain by the management.
