What a player this guy is. Can see him playing for the world elite in the future, Dortmund is perfect for his development.

13 - Erling Haaland has scored 13 goals in his 11 UEFA Champions League appearances. The 20-year-old also has 25 goals in 28 matches for Borussia Dortmund across all competitions.

Looks a wonderful talent.

I wonder if Man City will look at him as Aguero's replacement.

Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund has claimed their former striker Erling Braut Haaland, now at Borussia Dortmund, “will land” at Liverpool in the future.

https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/...-at-liverpool-claims-salzburg-transfer-chief/

Maybe in 18 months he will have him at Anfield. What a talent he is, looks a typical centre forward, big strong and has pace too.

One of a few upcoming young Norwegian stars. He is son of former Leeds/Man City/Forest player Alf Inge Haaland. Erling is in fact born in Leeds and his biggest childhood dream was to win PL with Leeds :)

When playing his focus is only on one thing: straight and shortest way to the opponent’s goal.

Really looking forward to his and Martin Oedegaard’s development.

In the last 10 years or so there has been a boom in the artificial grass pitches in Norway and with that you have access to play fotball 365 days in a year. When I was playing we only played outdoor 7 months and rest was indoor where you could not play as freely and often had to go for alternative trainings or spent more time in gym. So this new approach will produce more and better players.

Erling Braut Haaland wins Golden Boy award for Europe's best under-21 player in top division

Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland has won the 2020 Golden Boy award for the best under-21 player playing in a European country's top division.

The 20-year-old Norway international finished ahead of Barcelona and Spain's Ansu Fati and Bayern Munich's Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies.

Haaland has scored 27 goals in 29 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix won the award in 2019.

Also in contention for the top prize were Haaland's club team-mate and England forward Jadon Sancho and Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood.

Previous English winners of the award are Wayne Rooney in 2004 and Raheem Sterling in 2014.

He is better then Mbappe. Another young player to watch out for is the immensely talented Ansu Fati.

He is nothing like a typical CF and that is what makes him so special. It is extremely rare for a 6’4 striker to have the speed and acceleration that he has. He is a physical marvel.

I don’t think Liverpool can afford him. He is going to break Neymar’s transfer record.

Ansu Fati is more likely to be more successful than Haaland.

Mbappe is already one of the elite footballers in the world.

Tbh he is already well past the level when you are winning the Golden Boy award. He is already among top 10 players in the world

Ansu Fati is more likely to be more successful than Haaland.

Mbappe is already one of the elite footballers in the world.

Mbappe is a great player, certainly one of the very best in the world, but Haaland is matching the peak years of Messi and Ronaldo with his rate of scoring goals.

Last season, he scored 44 goals in 40 games for a team that is not even the strongest in its own league.

He scores a goal every game for a weak team like Norway as well.

The rate at which he scores goals is mind-boggling. Neither Mbappe nor Neymar have been able to match his scoring record and they play for a better team.

Fati is an amazing talent but I am not sure if he will have a better career than Haaland.

Haaland is a humanoid. I have never seen a 6’4 towering ST have the speed and acceleration that he has. He is unstoppable.

IMO, he will be the first player to break the €300m barrier in transfer fee. Whoever signs from BVB will have to pay a world record fee.

Four goals for Erling Braut Haaland today for Borussia Dortmund.

Only a matter of time before Spanish and EPL giants start sniffing around.

True. Haaland is a machine. The guy is absolutely mental! Amazing performance by him today.

His connection with ödegaard might get Haaland to Real Madrid.

Papa Perez's plan is to get Mbappe in 2021 and then Haaland in 2022. They are a big part of the new Los Galacticos plan.

I don’t think both will end up at the same club. Mbappe will play in the centre in the long run and I don’t think he would like to play on the wings to accommodate Haaland. It would be amazing if one of them ends up at Barcelona.

However, if Madrid pull off both and manage to play them together successfully, it will be a nightmare for Barcelona who are slowly becoming a sleeping giant like AC Milan.

Barcelona’s only hope would be if the likes of Fati, Pedri, de Jong and Dest develop into the next Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and Alves. They also need to convince Pep to sell Eric Garcia who has all the qualities to be a better CB than Pique.

Barca, Bayern and other top clubs will be after Youssoufa Moukoko as well. He is only 16 and Haaland calls him the biggest talent in the World. Many good young upcoming players coming through now.

Dortmund is a gold mine as far as young players are concerned. Their scouting network is great and talented players develop rapidly in their system.

We seem to be entering a new golden age of footballers in this coming decade, similar to the golden age of players during the 2000s.

Haaland, Mbappe, Alexander-Arnold, Camavinga, Fati, Sancho, Davies, Felix, Tonali, Havertz; just to name a few.

The 2020s are going to be a fantastic decade for football.

Erling Braut Haaland scored four second-half goals as Borussia Dortmund recovered from a goal down to thrash Hertha Berlin and reduce the gap to Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.

Norway international Haaland, 20, scored a 15-minute hat-trick as Dortmund moved second, one point behind Bayern who drew 1-1 with Werder Bremen.

The in-form Haaland has hit 10 goals in his past six games in all competitions for Dortmund and has scored 21 times in 17 matches for club and country this season.

He won the 2020 Golden Boy award for the best under-21 player playing in a European country's top division earlier on Saturday, finishing ahead of Barcelona and Spain's Ansu Fati and Bayern Munich's Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies.

Haaland has a release clause of about 70 million active from this summer.

You've never played any level of football esp in England. English football is physical, historically CF are big, strong and powerful. They have to be to combat the size of the defenders in English football.

Also Haaland being better than KM. lol

Yes Sergio Aguero at 5’8 and highest active premier league goal scorer totally fits that description :))

English football is not as it used to be in the 90s and early 20s. Most of the teams now have shortish foreign players and even the defenders are no more like Tony Adams, Pallister, Sol Cambell, Rio Ferdinand, Carragher, Terry to mention some. A player like Bruno Fernandes would never have done well in those times but now he is one of the best in PL to serve his team mates.

Heartning to see such praise for a Norwegian player here. We are not used to it:)

Obviously not all strikers are typical CF in the PL. The game has evolved along with the style of play but this doesnt mean the definition of a typical CF is wrong. The English league consists of more than the PL.

However PL still has big strong defenders and someone like Haaland would be a good signing in such a league. He will be more effective in the air than SA. But dont take my word for it.

Here is a newcomer to the PL

Chelsea new boy Timo Werner hilariously admitted that he has never played against such "massive defenders" after his side beat Brighton 3-1.

You are living in England but your football knowledge is zero which is reflected by your outdated, generic comments on Premier League football. Comments that have been disproved time and time again.

English football is still more physical than other leagues but over the last two decades, it has evolved into a more technical league where diminutive forwards with technical skills are thriving.

That is why nearly every technically gifted player - be it a ST, CAM, Winger has excelled in England in recent years regardless of their physical characteristics.

Timo Werner finds the defenders bigger in England but it hasn’t stopped him from doing well in the Premier League right from the word go.

Physicality is a plus of course but you do not have to a be a physical beast to excellent in England.

More than physicality, you need technical ability, talent and skills. If you have them in abundance you will excel and if you don’t, you don’t stand a chance.

Akinfenwa can manhandle any defender in the world when it comes to physicality but he never got picked by a Premier League club.

Couple of months back, the 5’8 and 150 lb Jack Grealish left the 6’4 and 200 lb van Dijk on his backside as his team put 7 past him.

Haaland has all the technical and physical characteristics to dominate English football. There are no holes and weaknesses in his game and profile.

Besides, the point of discussion is not how Haaland will do in England. The point of discussion is your incorrect assessment that Haaland is a “typical CF”.

I corrected you by reminding you that he is nothing like a typical CF because it is not usual for a 6’4 and 190 lb CF to have the explosive acceleration and speed that he has, and that is what makes him so dangerous.

He is one of the fastest players in the world and that is crazy for a player with his physical characteristics.

If you think he is a typical CF, can you please provide a list of 6’4 and 190 lb+ strikers in Premier League or European football who can run as fast as he does?

In fact, you cannot come up with a list even if you scan the history of football, which is why your assessment that he is a typical CF is nonsense.

As far as the comparison with Mbappe is concerned, he is a better goal scorer and physically more gifted. Unfortunately, he plays for Norway and thus will never have the chance to shine at World Cups.

2 more goals tonight in the Champions League against Club Bruges.

The English league consists of more than the PL. A typical CF in England is exactly as I have described because I've played against many. My advice to you is play the sport, you will understand.

You believe Haaland is better than Kylian Mbappé . Please stop :yk

He has no idea of footy. A good googler or researcher he is.

As you put it-haalans better than Mbappe-simply LOL.

His footy claims are worse than his cricket.

Haaland is a great talent no doubt but is way off being a finished product. I watched the full match v Bayern, he had a lot of energy and strength but some of his decisions and shooting was average.

Haaland’s physical characteristics make him an extraordinary talent. As I asked KKWC and he didn’t have an answer, there are no 6’4, 190 lb strikers today or even in the past who had the speed and acceleration that Haaland has. It is not normal at all.

If you put them both in the same team, Haaland will outscore Mbappe.

Mbappe is not even the best player at PSG. It is Neymar. Mbappe is a great goal scorer but Neymar is the better all-round footballer. Mbappe lacks his creative talent and playmaking skills.

So does Haaland, both are essentially pure ST, and thus they will be compared with their output in terms of goals scored.

Haaland extraordinary physical characteristics give him an edge over every young ST of his generation. He is a nightmare for defenders because of his combination of size and speed.

Yes so?

I have watched Mbappe struggle to beat weak teams in the UCL without Neymar on the pitch. The only reason PSG qualified for the final last year was because Neymar was not injured this time.

And I saw Haaland vs Bayern as well, and he was miles better than the flop show Mbappe produced against the same side in the UCL final.

The sitter that he missed would have been buried by Haaland.

Fast tall players?

Zlatan (ajax days)-Mamoon you are probably on familiar with him in later days.

Tore Andre Flo had a burst/was quick for a tall guy

John Carew

There are 3, feel free to google the last 2!

Similar to when you did for Ronny Rosenthal! It is ok, you've obviously only followed footy for a few years

You might be watching football longer then I have but unfortunately it did not help you understand the game.

You have just exposed yourself if you think a young Zlatan was as fast as Haaland is today. At no point in his career was Zlatan’s speed even comparable to Haaland.

John Carew and Tore Andre Flo :))) :)))

The fact that you are comparing average strikers like John Carew and Flo to Haaland sums up everything.

The only similarity between him and Haaland is that they are both Norwegian and have similar height, but Haaland is streets ahead in terms of goal scoring ability and pace.

Let me write it again - you cannot come up with any examples of 6’4, 190lb+ strikers who has the pace of Haaland. That is what makes him much such an incredible talent.

It is not national for a striker of his height and body structure to be almost as rapid as someone like Mbappe, and that is why he is a nightmare for defenders and find the net every game.

It is almost impossible for defenders to contain him because you cannot outpace him or bully him physically.

And yeah I remember the Rosenthal thread where you downplayed the value of Benayoun to Liverpool in 2008-09 and I proved you wrong with facts.

There is a big difference between tall strikers who are quick for their height and Haaland who is lighting fast irrespective of his height.

Young Zlatan was quick for his height but he was never among the fastest players in the world.

Haaland actually is one of the fastest players in the world today and he would be noted for his pace even if he was only 5’8.

You cannot come up with any examples of 6’4+ strikers that were as fast as Haaland because they are none. He is a unique specimen.

You make me laugh!!

Acting like you know a great deal about footy!

When you played the zionist Liverpool argument and used Yossi as opposed to Ronny Rosenthal-then to try and use the weak point that you kept it more current for audience- was literally LOL. You're obviously new to football and that is fair enough.

You asked about a combination of pace and height- LOL comparing haaland.
Tore Flo was renowned as being quick for his height- Carew was similar.

At least with your cricket posts,I might read and respect but footy no chance!

Carew would hardly qualify as a striker for whom pace / speed was a crucial part of the game. It wasn’t because he didn’t have a whole lot of it. Also Carew while a good striker and had good impact at Villa, was not at any point of his career at an elite level that Haaland has already reached.

My example of Benayoun was in the context of KKWC. If you would have followed my conversation with him you would have understood.

KKWC claimed that he has boycotted Israel and does not recognize them as a state. However, he continues to support and spend money on the club that bought Benayoun.

KKWC is not old enough to have spent money on Rosenthal. That is why I used the example of Benayoun to expose KKWC’s hypocrisy and double standards.

You asked about a combination of pace and height- LOL comparing haaland.

That is not what I said. Do you have trouble reading plain English? I don’t think I can use simpler words.

Please read my posts in this thread again. I think I should post again in bold so that you can finally understand.

I am not talking about strikers who were quick for their height. I can list dozens such strikers.

I asked for a list of 6’4, 190 lb+ strikers who were as fast as Haaland.

Haaland is not fast for his height and built; he is actually one of the fastest players in the world irrespective of his height.

He is almost as fast as Mbappe.

Haaland is most probably the fastest 6’4+ striker in history, and that is what makes him so lethal and a nightmare for defenders. He is a total animal.

I hope it is finally clear.

I have been watching football for as long as I have watched cricket. It is my favorite sport along with cricket and golf.

And with all due and undue respect, not only do you have no clue about football, you cannot comprehend basic English as well.

I asked him to list 6’4+ strikers who were as quick as Haaland and he is giving random examples of tall strikers who at best would be considered as decently quick for their heights.

He doesn’t have a clue about the point of discussion.

Take your time.

This is your definition to the exact weight and height lol.

Peter Crouch was around this tall , not many other fowards in football history lol

190lbs is not much of a weight either.

You have been watching cartoons of Peter Crouch on a diet? :yk

Haaland’s physical characteristics make him an extraordinary talent. As I asked KKWC and he didn’t have an answer, there are no 6’4, 190 lb strikers today or even in the past who had the speed and acceleration that Haaland has. It is not normal at all.

Another gem. KM is nothing like TH as a footballer apart from being French lol

Crouch was around 6’8. If you had any clue about football you would have been able to tell the height difference between the two.

Moreover, again if you had any clue about football, you would know that it is very, very difficult for someone to be 6’4 and around 190 lbs and have the capacity to be among the fastest players in the world.

6’4 isn’t unusually tall for a ST. In every generation, you have several in this range. Even today, there are a dozen strikers in that height range and no one is remotely as quick as Haaland. He is the most impressive physical specimen since C. Ronaldo.

Another gem. KM is nothing like TH as a footballer apart from being French lol

Again, if you had any understanding of football, you would understand that Mbappe is very similar to Thierry Henry.

In fact, plenty of former French players as well as Fabregas and Arsene Wenger have made this comparison as well. A person has to be blind as a bad to not see it.

This is what makes Haaland so unique. It is not normal for 6’4+ strikers to be so rapid. He is amongst the fastest players in the world irrespective of his height.

This is the major reason why defenders are struggling to cope with him both in Bundesliga and Europe. He is scoring goals at the rate of peak Messi and Ronaldo without playing for the best teams in the world.

lol. Crouch was 2M which is approx 6ft5. I've seen him live on the pitch and in person. Have you?

Henry was more of a touch player, while Kylian is more of power player.

As I said, you haven't kicked a ball so are just making up stories.

As I said, you haven't kicked a ball so are just making up stories.

Crouch’s height is officially listed as 6’7. Your approximation is incorrect because it is not possible to to gauge the exact height with your eyes.

He is clearly much taller than Haaland and the guy couldn’t outrun Haaland in a thousand years, so I don’t even know why you are fixated on him.

Furthermore, your distinction of “touch player” and “power player” actually exposes your shallow knowledge of football. The lack of depth and substance in your answer is clear.

I don’t have to “make up stories”. Footballers and managers with billion times more talent and knowledge than you have compared Mbappe to Henry.

He is nothing like Henry as a player-profile,impact etc, sure but actual on the pitch type player-no chance

Stick to Indian cricket.

You sneering at touch and power player says it all. Henry was a touch player and Mbappe's game is predisposed on power.

You obvious do not play footy and rely solely on the net, that too with fails r.e. benayoun and liverpool and forgetting Rosenthal etc. Shows you've only followed football post 2000.......

As I said before, you know nothing about football. It was obvious to me when you claimed that Haaland does not have unique physical characteristics and there have been many strikers of his size and frame with the same pace.

You gave examples of Carew and Andre Flo as examples of tall strikers who were as quick as Haaland. I mean c‘mon, what is left to say apart from feeling sorry for your lack of knowledge.

Mbappe is the reincarnation of Henry. They are very similar players not just in terms of impact and presence on the pitch but also in terms of playing style.

Their movement, their instincts, their preference to play on the left and cut inside, their positioning, finishing etc. are very similar.

His third goal yesterday was like watching peak Henry.

Wenger, Deschamps, Fabregas, Pogba, Meunier and a host of other players, coaches etc. who have played with and worked with Henry and Mbaappe agree that they have very similar playing styles, but someone called “Waqar inswinging yorker” on PakPassion is the judge and jury as far as playing styles are concerned.

Anyone who thinks there is no similarity between the playing styles of Henry and Mbappe clearly did not watch Henry play in his prime.

You started watching football in the 2010s and that is fine, but at least do not argue with people who watched prime Henry and more importantly, do not argue with French players and coaches who playing alongside Henry and have also worked with Mbappe.

What a brilliant driving run, one-two with Sancho, and finish by Haaland. So quick and so powerful.

That’s his 17th goal in 13 UCL appearances. Unreal

2 more goals tonight in the Champions League.

His value goes up each week.

Pace, power, and ability to finish with either foot. He is truly a brilliant player in the making. He is only going to get better with age and will break a lot of goal scoring records.

Hes a great player. Unfortunately hes from Norway, so we really wont get to see him shine on the international stage. But would be great if he can transfer to a bigger club in EPL or La Liga. I personally would like to se him in Real Madrid or Barcelona.

You clearly are out of ur depth in footy and it is ok.

I watched from 2010-flo and carew were what era-LOL.

Like I said, you clearly started mid 2000s and benayoun showed that.

Again.

Mbappe is a power based player, Henry was all touch.

Not similar.

Nice try.

When a famous cricketer says something, you still argue against the point? Why accept what a famous footy person says without applying context, you clearly are limited in terms of footy but keep up the research -u will get there one day.

Unfortunately it stays the same, thanks to his fat agent riola, well I really hope we get him and Sancho now with Rashford on the left and bruno behind them, it will make a lethal attack.

Haaland reminds me of Ronaldo (Brazil). Power, pace & a ice cold finisher. Nothing like Henry.

Dortmund is a gold mine as far as young players are concerned. Their scouting network is great and talented players develop rapidly in their system.

Moukoko is unbelievably mature for his age, and yes his quality is frightening

We're prioritising a new center back and a right sided midfielder, I'm afraid we can't afford him!

I don't think we will be spending big on a CB, not much in quality available right now.

We will be back in for Sancho this summer and should complete this deal, but Haaland will be more likely in 2022 when his £60m release clause kicks in, of course his agent will demand another £30/50m which is why he sent him to Dortumend in the first place with a cheeky release clause.

Haaland names his 6 team shortlist......

Liverpool need to start getting the cheque book ready for this guy.

2 more goals tonight in the Champions League against Sevilla.

Add a few more thousands to his value.

He's a colossal in the opponents penalty box and has such magic feet. His play looks unreal at times.

Erling Braut Haaland: Assistant referee's autograph donated to charity

A charity is set to benefit from assistant referee Octavian Sovre's decision to ask Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland for an autograph following Manchester City's Champions League quarter-final first leg win on Tuesday.

The Romanian official approached Haaland in the tunnel at Etihad Stadium and produced a red and yellow card for the striker to sign.

Some observers questioned Sovre's actions, among them BT Sport pundit Owen Hargreaves, who said "it doesn't look right".

A childhood friend of Sovre has now revealed the cards are likely be auctioned later this month to help provide therapy for autistic people at the SOS Autism Bihor centre in Romania, which depends on donations and often auctions items to raise money.

"The red and yellow signed cards, which my kindergarten classmate Octavian donated to our SOS Autism Bihor centre, will be used for a noble cause," said Simona Zlibut, who oversees a therapy centre set up by parents and whose own daughter Laura, 21, is autistic.

Haaland, 20, is among Europe's most sought-after talents and has been linked with a big-money move this summer.

Asked for his opinion on the assistant referee asking Haaland for an autograph, City boss Pep Guardiola - who is among those who wants to sign the forward - did not seem concerned.

"Maybe he's a fan of Haaland," said Guardiola. "Maybe it was for his son or daughter. I've never seen it before, but the referee and the linesman were correct [during the match], they did a good job. That's all."

Phil Foden's late winner earned City a 2-1 victory, after Haaland had set up Marco Reus to cancel out Kevin de Bruyne's opener.

The second leg takes place on Wednesday, 14 April at 20:00 BST.

Erling Haaland: Borussia Dortmund forward plays down Chelsea transfer link, insisting 'it's just rumours'

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland has played down reports of a €175m summer move to Chelsea, saying he hopes "it's just rumours".

Chelsea were understood to have made an informal player-plus-cash approach for the 20-year-old earlier in July which would have seen either Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson-Odoi move the other way.

However, Haaland poured cold water on the speculation during Dortmund's pre-season training camp in Switzerland.

"I don't really have much to say about this," Haaland said. "I have three years left on my contract and I'm enjoying my time here (at Dortmund).

"Before yesterday, I didn't speak to my agent in one month - I think you have the answer there.

"I don't really care too much about that. It's a lot of money - I hope it's just rumours to be honest because that's a lot of money for a person!"

Despite winning the Champions League, Thomas Tuchel's side are on the lookout for a new striker ahead of the new season after struggling in front of goal at times last term.

Haaland is believed to be their primary target, but a source close to the discussions previously told Sky Sports News they face "mission impossible" in their bid to sign him.

Dortmund are also not keen to lose another key player so soon after allowing Jadon Sancho to join Manchester United in a £73m deal this summer.

Haaland will be available for around £70m next summer due to a release clause in his contract.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed the club are looking into the possibility of signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund

The chances of Erling Haaland moving to Spain with Barcelona or Real Madrid have been completely dismissed – with one observer indicating that he expects the striker to join Liverpool in 2022.

The 21-year-old striker is one of the most coveted players in the world game and has a plethora of admirers. Having burst onto the scene at RB Salzburg, Haaland has scored 62 goals in 61 appearances for Borussia Dortmund. And he got his 2021/22 campaign off to a flying start, having netted twice in their 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, with an exit clause due to kick in in summer 2022, this seems like it’ll be his last season in a Dortmund shirt.

Indeed, it’s no surprise to see some of the world’s biggest clubs linked with blockbusting moves for the Norwegian.

Valued at around £150m, Haaland’s clause sees him available for a reported €75m (£64m) next summer.

He’s been predictably linked with the likes of Bayern Munich, as well as Real Madrid and Barcelona. There’s also a number of Premier League suitors too.

However, Bayern appear unwilling to sanction any move while they still have Robert Lewandowski still going strong. Indeed, that was a stance they made perfectly clear when questioned about Haaland earlier this month.

And now former Bayern and Dortmund midfielder Michael Rummenigge has suggested Barcelona and Real Madrid could be out the running too.

Barcelona are heavily hindered by financial issues, meaning a deal even next summer looks unlikely. Real, meanwhile, appear more vested in a deal to sign PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, whose deal in France currently has less than 10 months to run.

That would leave the route clear for Manchester United or Liverpool to pounce. And with Chelsea out the running, owing to this summer’s signing of Romelu Lukaku, Rummenigge thinks the Merseysiders will win the race.

Asked about Mbappe and Haaland being successors to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the brother of Bayern president Karl-Heinz told Sport1 about the latter’s likely next move.

“Yes. They [Haaland and Mbappe] could get there [the world’s top stars]. We’ll have to wait and see where he goes after this season,” Rummenigge said of Haaland, as cited by Sport Witness.

“Real and Barca have financial problems so I could imagine him moving to England. His father used to play there too. I could well imagine Liverpool for Haaland.”

Rummenigge, though, is simply delighted to see Haaland remain at the Westfalenstadion for another season at least.

Having sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, BVB were under no pressure to cash-in on the Norway powerhouse.

And having witnessed at close hand his abilities, he’s challenged the player to improve one aspect of his play.

“Haaland is an exceptional phenomenon. There is a player like that every 30 or 40 years. I don’t know what his career plans are, but for Dortmund it’s great that he’s still wearing the black and yellow jersey this season,” he explained.

“He is an absolute goal machine, his opponents only fly away to the right and left when he starts running. I’ve never seen anything like him at that age.

“The only drawback in his size is his headers. He doesn’t score enough goals. Otherwise, Haaland is a perfect player.”
