Nothing is more selfish than a 0 (1).
His score in the 2nd match was the reason we won the match. He chipped in with wickets and excellent bowling performance in all three matches.
What more you want, hit a 50 and pick up a fifer in every match?
What do you mean what more I want?
He is supposed to be one of Pakistan's main hitters in the side and he averages 10 and 14 in T20Is and ODIs respectively.
He came out to bat in 16.4, 16.6 and 18.2 overs in this T20 series. Sure he shouldn't have gotten 2 ducks but he cannot hit a fifty if he is coming in to bat with 1 or 2 overs to go. Experts need to control their expectations if they want to stop looking stupid.
He's had 22 LOI innings now - so he's been given time to set these expectations which is virtually zero with the bat like his batting averages. Also his strike rates ain't great either particularly in ODIs.

Lol, I believe like Fakhar he is struggling with these slow wickets
Can be the reason. So we have three players who struggle in UAE. Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman and Faheem Ashraf.
Another one today.
Faheem loves the hook shot he will never be able to resist it.

Wonder if he’s also got a poultry farm
This was a few months ago, I still think he is better off in Tests although I hope he proves me wrong.Test player for now
8 ducks in International cricket so far in 30 innings
Clueless.
He may as well come in and slog, because he has no clue of how to build an innings.
how can Pakistan think tank term a player with 16 batting average as an all rounder?I watched his List A average and it is paltry 16. Not a great sign of his batting talents.
This guy is living off his innings v Bangladesh ahead of the Champions Trophy.
Extremely confident![]()
Coming from his biggest fan, he has been a disappointment with the bat. He’s still a top T20 bowler but he needs to learn the ODI game.
For those saying he can’t bat are clueless. Watch him batting in domestic he is literally the player everyone cried for a couple years ago. Young pace all rounder who can hit 6’s at the death. Expecting him to come in at 100-5 and play a 40 (70) is unrealistic.
He is a far better bowler than Yamin & Amad. These guys are genuine trundlers with 0 movement at all. They can only dream of scoring a 50 in conditions like Faheem did in Ireland.

Confused approach, poor technique, low in confidence - his batting continues to decline.
There's much better options available in the team. Faheem needs to go back and work on his batting, maybe playing some county cricket in England or Australia would help. Maybe even working with a specialist might help like Sir Alastair Cook working with Gary Palmer.
He does have a county deal but it's only for T20s in England.
But a serious question , which first class team in England or Australia will sign him up to play first class cricket when he can't even get off the mark ?
Faheem has zero movement with the ball. Just gets a couple to straighten up every 30-40 balls. Faheem doesn't even move the red ball. He doesn't have any great spell in domestics while Yamin has many. Do you remember Yamin's first ball in T20 cricket? He bowled a massive in-swinger in UAE to Roy(?) and got the wicket.
Overall yes he has been disappointing with the bat but honestly I feel that Faheem has hardly had a chance to play the role with the bat (in ODIs) that he is in the team for - coming in after the 40th over with a good platform set to lift Pakistan's total. Against minnows he hasn't needed to come in and against better teams he's come in halfway through the innings where he isn't good enough yet to save the match.
In T20s he has had those sort of opportunities where he has played a few handy cameos but you can't expect much from any batsman coming in the last 2-3 overs being told to slog.
Have you ever wondered why he hasn't been promoted up the batting order? Because not only his overall batting but also his hitting ability is weaker than Imad Wasim actually, who is quite average.
He can't be trusted with a promotion in the batting order because he isn't much of a batsman. He isn't an all rounder, just a medium pace bowler with stats boosted from minnow bashing.
Yamin is a garbage bowler & he’s overhyped with the bat. He’s a trundler who’s like 5’7.
That's your opinion but from what I've seen, his hitting ability is far better than Imad versus both pace and spin.
He lacks temperament and doesn't have much of a defence either.
The harsh reality is Amir and Hasan Ali have done more with the bat in ODIs. That just epitomises how shoddy Faheem is as a batsman.
