These idiots learn nothing from the past. If only it was as simple as sacking a coach. Pakistan would be a world-beater team by now.
Bouncers. Beamers. Yorker Shoaib Akhtar rips apart Mike Hesson
Requests Mr Naqvi to slay the hammer on him
Also the captain does not justify his place in team.
what the mgmt was doing from last 15 days today they themselves have been proven wrong. they should be made accountable for their blunders.
Bakhri revealed it was indeed Hesson and Agha who convinced Aqib straight after Asia cup to bring in Babar.I don't believe selecting Babar was Mike Hesson's decision. As someone who values data and numbers selecting Babar goes against everything a coach like Hesson stands for. Yesterday you finally felt like it was a team selected fully by him.
Well if that's the case then it's a pretty big blunder by him. As is over-estimating the value of Nawaz and Shadab, although the numbers did back those selections. Still he needs to stay on till 2028 and be given a free rein if they want their cricket to improve.Bakhri revealed it was indeed Hesson and Agha who convinced Aqib straight after Asia cup to bring in Babar.
Hesson is slightly guilty of this.
I love Hesson but I can’t overlook this. He overestimated Babar’s value in T20.
100% he staysWell if that's the case then it's a pretty big blunder by him. As is over-estimating the value of Nawaz and Shadab, although the numbers did back those selections. Still he needs to stay on till 2028 and be given a free rein if they want their cricket to improve.
How about tanvir AhmadWho’s going to replace Hesson if he’s removed!l?
Basit Ali??
Tanvir Ahmed??
Saqlain Mushtaq??
Mohammad Hafeez???
Rashid Latif????
Which Chawwal would you rather have????
Who will knock some sense into him that his obsession of playing fraud all rounders has been total disaster100% he stays
Even in 1 year I have seen excellent progress under him from a batting pov.
His bowling strategy needs improvement. You can’t become an elite T20i side without 5 proper bowlers
Sometimes I think it’s best to expose frauds by giving them the reigns. How about tanvir Ahmad
Will be doing Babar Babar through out his tenure
Having players like Shadab and Nawaz at 5 and 6 is depressingWho will knock some sense into him that his obsession of playing fraud all rounders has been total disaster
These clowns are just talking and running there agendasSometimes I think it’s best to expose frauds by giving them the reigns.
Salman Butt has the biggest mouth and is always running agendas against Kirsten/Hesson level coaches.
Give this Besharam the reigns and watch how stupid he will look with his ideas on the world stage.
It happened to Hafeez didn’t it?
He needs to drop his loverboysHaving players like Shadab and Nawaz at 5 and 6 is depressing
It shouldn't even be up for debate that he stays. Have Pakistan fans learned nothing from everything that’s happened over the past two years? With the constant churn of coaches and unending instability that has created100% he stays

They are out for him because he has basically humbled and neutralised Babar and Rizwan. A lot of these ex cricketers barking on TV against him most likely have some kind of stake with Rizwan+Babar in the limelight for Pakistan. It shouldn't even be up for debate that he stays. He is trying to create a team of all rounders... Just another branch of Islamabad united with core player like Shadab, salman, faheem etcHesson is trying to create 15 players out of 11 players in the end, but he is getting 7 or 8 players at most. As a coach, you should know who the bowlers are most likely to complete 20 overs beforehand. There were matches where Faheem did not bowl a single over. Shahheen bowled just 2 overs. In the Asia Cup, Nawaz hardly bowled as India had a lot of lefties. Gauti is also guilty of this. He has severely weakened the batting unit in the name of having a versatile bowling lineup.
Ya.. he should know the USP of each player accurately. He is currently overrating some players massively. He needs a much stronger threshold to play someone at batting positions like 5, 6, etc. At 5 and 6 you either need genuine all-rounders or batting all-rounders. Not bowling all-rounders. Imagine David Miller is sent by SA at 6 and Pakistan sends Nawaz. When SA was 20/3 Miller came and rescued them. In similar situation pakistan would have sent SHadab India would have run through them in a jiffy. He is trying to create a team of all roudners... Agree, I know Hesson maybe over analyze things and made some mistakes, but from the team selection to the 15 that where selected for this world cup, I do not think he had the exact players he wanted and the exact 11 he wanted to play, with the exception of the last match vs Sri Lanka.I don't believe selecting Babar was Mike Hesson's decision. As someone who values data and numbers selecting Babar goes against everything a coach like Hesson stands for. Yesterday you finally felt like it was a team selected fully by him.
Exactly. He tried something, it failed, now try something else. The way I see it, atleast he is willing to take his vision to the end and isn't just trying to play it safe collecting monthly cheques.Keep him until 2027 WC
But I hope he have learnt his lesson of keeping clown and fake all rounders
Bring proper players with their proper roles
He has to stop this filling team with these fake all roundersI think he’s made a lot of poor decisions. Too much liking for allrounders, poor team selection, bringing back Babar, persisting with Agha as captain etc. Not to mention poor decisions at toss. Not a fan of shadab playing as a batsman either.
But overall I do see Pakistan progressing. So I do think we keep him.
Just need a personnel change. Agha needs to go as does Babar. And I think for now Saim shouldn’t open. I think it will be a lot easier to manage this team if these changes are made.
And yesterdays team also messed up. Farhan was only interested in his 100. Once he was on 97 or o8, he should had gone for shots. Instead he was dabbing it around and exposed others. Atleast 40 runs could had been scored.I don't believe selecting Babar was Mike Hesson's decision. Worst coach in decades.
Kept playing his favorites Shadab, Nawaz, Agha, Faheem.
No person with even average cricketing IQ will be obsessed with these useless cricketers. He’s the freaking head coach!!!
Sack him.
This match will be forgotten in a few weeks, but you will be boasting of his record of scoring 2 hundreds in a T20 World Cup for years to come. And yesterdays team also messed up. Look at fakhar, was nearing a century, was playing faster than Farhan. Did not care went for the shots and got out.
Why i am mentioning this because this mindset comes from the coaches themselves.
He was the one that selected nawaz and shadab. The fact that khawaja nafay was given a game showed Hesson was desperate and he was looking for hitters to be added some where.
Shadab was in the team as a hitter. Think about it...
He dropped abrar. He keeps mirza in the squae but doenst play him. Abbas afridi and waseem jr are treated as third class citizens because they dont have the hype.
Had this been any pakistani local coach making similar decisions, he would had been fired after the asia cup.

He did not do his job completely sorry.I get your point
But only does he have the responsibility to score runs
What was your middle order performance pathetic they couldn't even hit a single boundary
Folded like pack of cards
So please stop blaming him
He did his job
You are right. And i agree, i and many fans will use these stats to boost him, but truth be told he should had done better. This match will be forgotten in a few weeks, but you will be boasting of his record of scoring 2 hundreds in a T20 World Cup for years to come.
Unfortunately, fans find refuge in statistics to assess a player, especially a few decades later when they have not watched a player play live. Every argument they have with other fans is on the basis of statistics. It is VERY hard for any player to be unselfish. And it’s because of fans, selectors, media, experts, and other people that are involved. Sanju Samson won the knockout game against West Indies, but it will be forgotten in a few months. If he had scored a century, it would be talked forever. WE as fans are the most responsible for this, as harsh as it may sound.
Bhai, if same mistakes were made by any other local coach you would had bashed him. Those hating on him,
Who would you rather have?
What are the mistakes though?Bhai, if same mistakes were made by any other local coach you would had bashed him.
If no coach has learned that Shadab khan is done, than Allah bhala karay iss team ka ab

What is your middle order doing then?He did not do his job completely sorry.
This is t20 not odi. Doesnt matter if you score even 150 runs, you need to be strategic.
His 100 meant nothing for pakistan as it did not qualify.
He was the set batsman and with limited number of deliveries he was required to hit them out
I wrote a whole rant bro. A simple example is shadabs inclusionWhat are the mistakes though?
Do you see me calling Sydney Sixer’s management geniuses for opening with Babar in T20s??
Bhai, whether they were buddies or not, the same guys got picked didnt they? These A/R’s have been around for some time & Hesson was getting more out of them then anyone else did, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough and they didn’t deliver in the way he’d have liked.
The difference between Hesson & the other coaches is that he wasn’t picking these players because they were his buddies, his intentions for the team are good and Pakistan’s recent couple of tournaments were much better compared to others under the past regime.
Im not talking about whole tournament. Im talking about tye context. What is your middle order doing then?
Guy playing at 160 to 170 SR
Check the stats he has scored nearly 40 percent of your team runs in this edition of WC
Meanwhile some fraud kings and chewing gum guy haven't even score even 100 runs
Bhai, whether they were buddies or not, the same guys got picked didnt they?
No one cares for intentions, everyone comes with good intentions, no one comes in saying oh i have bad intentions lets destroy the team.
Hesson didnt know that Shadab fails to perform? Hesson didnt know that none of shadabs deliveries fall in place, he has line and length issue? Hesson didnt know that shadabs batting is flawed, he isnt a power hitter?
Hesson even went further and dropped Abrar and kept Shadab and Nawaz. You have to be the biggest tool as a coach to drop Abrar, who is Pakistans best spinner.
They drop sufiyan muqeem for shadab. Than for the whole year Hassan Nawaz was kept part of the squad, and in the end got dropped for Nafay.
Nafay is still raw and is being given debuts.
Usman Khan is one of the worst batters to have played for Pakistan, and if Hesson didnt see anything wrong with his batting, that shows how bad his coaching was.
You guys want to give Hesson more leverage only because he is gora.
4 straight losses to India in 6 months. That itself is an embarrassment. It just shows Hesson and Agha had no answers.
You are going on about buddies of 2024, to misbah of 2011. Yet when it comes to Hesson, you are now justifying evrry mistake he made, because he is white. That matters though, picking players just because you’re buddies with them or agree with their religious beliefs isn’t right is it. You’ve gone off on a tangent and proving how racist you are instead of understanding the point I was making that, yes maybe he made some mistakes but I trust they can be rectified. The alternative is to make a nonce like Misbah coach so you can enjoy 1990’s cricket and a repeat of the 2007 WC final & 2011 Mohali. Last couple of tournaments Pakistan have been getting better, you are blind or stupid not to see that after the last T20 WC in the US & CT at home.
You are going on about buddies of 2024, to misbah of 2011. Yet when it comes to Hesson, you are now justifying evrry mistake he made, because he is white.
Shadab being selected under Babars captaincy is bad. But shadab being selected under hessons coaching is a very good decision. Atleast try to be rational.
Losing 4 matches to India straight in the last 6 months is improvement? World cup performance was win against Namibia, Netherlands, Sri lanka, while losing to India and England. This is improvement? Lol
Im talking to you in a respectful manner. But it seems like you are not mature enough to also respond in a respectful manner. So this would be my last post with you on this thread.
But by trundler Shaheen bowling if we have scored 240 I think he would have made sure that SL get that target tooIm not talking about whole tournament. Im talking about tye context.
The context of the Sri lanka game where we needed close to 250 runs. Im talking in the context that with 2 to 3 overs left, Farhan was more focussed on getting his 100 rather than take maximum advantages of the less deliveries. He became selfish.
These little things are strategies that makes a difference.
This is the reason why everyone was celebrating Shaheens 4 wickets, as he got his glory balls in, but in the death overs the team still lost it.
Shaheen wasnt even trying to field during the england match.
The middle order is crap, where have o defended them. Babar, agha, shadab were all crap.
But farhan failed at taking maximum advantage.
True that but we still needed more runs for a chance on that wicketBut by trundler Shaheen bowling if we have scored 240 I think he would have made sure that SL get that target too
He wont be, because he is a foreign coach. The moment we see a gora doing such things, we dont mind it.Hesson strategy has some flaws.
Too many all rounders.
and in this world cup the persistence with Babar.
He should be held accountable.
Playing SSA was his unforgivable crimeHe wont be, because he is a foreign coach. The moment we see a gora doing such things, we dont mind it.
Had this been any local coach making such decisions, he would had been bashed till no ends.
Siam is 23 year old and playing his first world cup. You really think he should be measured same as a veteran like Babar? But I dont see no one talkign about them... Why babar babar babar...
Bhai, shaheen, babar, usman khan, shadab and nawaz. The list goes onnPlaying SSA was his unforgivable crime
foreign coach actually get treated worse in PakistanHe wont be, because he is a foreign coach. The moment we see a gora doing such things, we dont mind it.
Had this been any local coach making such decisions, he would had been bashed till no ends.
True that, but this time Hesson is at fault.foreign coach actually get treated worse in Pakistan
On top of that he is your odi captainPlaying SSA was his unforgivable crime
Im disappointed with you @Rana if this same squad was played by any other coach you did not approved of, you would had bashed him day in and day out.
I do not know what goes on behind the scenes exactly but I feel like a lot of decisions and things we saw where not Hessons 100 percent full choices, he made some tactical errors as well of course but I think overall, who ever is making the decisions....truly making the decisions on who the playing eleven is....and who ever selected the 15 should be blamed...be it Hesson...Agha....or someone else. This coach had to deal with corrupt officials and prepared the best team possible, I am a bigger fan of Abrar then you but that was not Hesson’s decision, nor did he have influence over Babar’s selection or Shadab; remember, Hesson is just a stupid gorah, so discuss his on-field tactics if you will sir.
True that, but this time Hesson is at fault.
He made all those mistakes which we expect from a local coach.
Remember how certain posters cried about dosti yari squad? Same shadab, nawaz, babar and shaheen are part of the same team with same level of performance.
Now some are claiming that by beating namibia, Nl and sri lanka we improved.
While others are mum
Change the coaching staff to local with same squad and their opinions would had been different

I still believe the last game Pakistan played was the squad Hesson selected. We saw a world of difference, granted we did not qualify and we almost lost (mainly due to shadab and shaheen) but the team looked better.
Yes exactly, Pakistan need a bit of someone who it date driven and plays according the match ups and etc... I think if Hesson stays, he needs to follow domestic and really look for the players he wants, its issue of playing all arounders was not bad (if he has the best) all arounders available, many teams do it and have success in T20. You need the right players, if you remove guys like shadab, nawaz, shaheen afridi, as an example and in-put arafat minhas, mehran mumtaz and abbas afridi, your all arounders look already better.Hesson got unlucky, he thought he could pander to certain groups but still get to a point where he could field his best XI when it mattered, unfortunately that didn’t pay off on this occasion and he was too late - but maybe, the PCB will still back him hopefully because he is someone who they can work with in this toxic environment.
How do u know that was not his decision? Plz provide evidence.
So you see nothing wrong with babar, shaheen, shadab and nawaz playing and abrar and fakhar being dropped?Tell me why would I do that? What would I see wrong with the squad?
I’m asking you,So you see nothing wrong with babar, shaheen, shadab and nawaz playing and abrar and fakhar being dropped?
I repeat my question in that postI’m asking you,
Which one of Hesson’s tactics would I see as criminal and want him chastised for it.
I have the same cricketing mindset as these SENA teams+coaches. I totally understand their viewpoint and cricketing culture. So from that pov, what has Hesson done for me to hate him like Misbah, Saqlain or Waqar Younis?
Your question isn’t sensibleI repeat my question in that post
Selecting babar, shaheen, nawaz shadab, dropping fakhar and abrar?Your question isn’t sensible
You want me to slaughter Hesson like I would others (Pakistani coaches)
But I’m asking you, what aspect of Hesson’s tactics do you want me to see as wrong?
