You obviously are not mr current affairs. Current Pak are terrible playing spin of any kind let alone maharaj and his left arm spin. Only misbah sarfaraz and younis were able to dominate Herath and , the rest are sitting ducks.

Bro I’ve been watching these guys since the 80’s. I can tell you the current lot are hopeless. I know Saud and Ghulam got runs against England but Sajid Bashir and maharaj are completely different propositions. For one the spin strategy took England completely by surprise. They turned up with mostly Seamers. West Indies didn’t make that mistake and won. (The 2nd test but the writing was on the wall in the first test) South are coming with two world class Lefties for exactly that reason. The whole world except you know Paks weakness against left arm spin.

That's an unfair assessment imo. Wrist spinners are vulnerable when it comes to maintaining lengths but the more they play, they better they get in this trait.

You are trying to make it seem like @khyberlion is giving his opinion based on his feelings, which isn't true. He mentioned the economy rate, which indicates that Faisal Akram lacks control. Faisal is only 22 and can improve, but maybe he is not ready yet and should play more first class matches.
Zahid simply releases pressure with the odd loose ball. Heck even Kaneria was loose in the 2010 series and rightly discarded. Abrar is a strange case. He’s generally been tested on Multan or Pindi wicket last year that did absolutely nothing for anybody. Then he got sick and just played LOI which plays havoc with line and length.

Abrar has 46 wickets in 10 tests someone who can't pick wickets but Faisal Akram who can pick wickets has 47 in 10 FC games lol. Great logic. Faisal will be going at over 5 economy in tests once picked you can bookmark this post.
I have seen Faisal bowl on many occasions he lacks control. Nearly going at 5 in Pakistan FC means you will be hopeless in internationals.

Test cricket isn't the place to groom a youngster. He can play domestics and work on his skills. Asif Chacha deserves his test cap.
