Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Abbas prove merit demands selection not potential only

I love watching players who have worked hard in domestic do well in international. Fakhar and abbas are the latest examples and I can only imagine what happens when we apply the same criteria for the rest of the teams. I love Babar azam in LOI but in test his selection is seriously demerited, and if we had Fakhar in England even in middle over, I think it would have made a huge difference. Babar needs to play domestic and bash the bowers there to get some confidence because right now he is a complete waste of space, we played the last test match with 9 players ( Wahab and babar useless). when imam returns, babar should make way for fakhar, who I think should bat at one 5 so that he can take advantage of the old ball and increase the rr.

Whats the deal with Sadaf? I mean, I dont get it.

If he is performing in domestic, why isnt he being selected?

I have not once seen any footage of him bowling, whereas as phastt bowlers like Wahab keep getting picked time over and over again, only to fail at international level, get dropped, get picked again and the cycle continues.
