Yes! I want India to thrash England on Sunday not because it will help Pak reach Semis, but it's easy for India to face an opponent like Pak in semis in WC! They are not beating India in WC no matter how great their players are performing currently.

Just like CT, the moment we dropped 2 non-performing players after losing to India and replaced them with 2 highly talented ones, we have started to win.

In CT, we dropped Ahmed Shehzad and Wahab Riaz for Fakhar Zaman and Junaid Khan, who both were brilliant after that and helped us win that tournament.

Now we have dropped Shoaib Malik and Hasan Ali for Haris Sohail and Shaheen Afridi, who have both delivered match winning knocks in next 2 games.

Ideally, Pakistan should face their demons of facing India in WC games in semi-final itself. If they win that, I don't think any other team can stop them from taking the cup home.

It will also be wise for my fellow Indian fans to not act cocky. One, it doesn't serve any purpose apart from temperory ego boost. Second, it almost always leaves the potential for such pompous remarks to ricochet back on their faces as eggs.

But 6 other games and we had to chase, so we had to soak all the chasing pressure.

We have lost games we wouldn't have lost had we batted first, for example the 96 quarter final.

If you add Champions trophy 2x games last year, it was the same, team batting first winning both games.

We threw away wickets under pressure in the our group game in this worldcup under pressure too. We were 110/1. How often do we collapse batting first when we are 110/1? there is literally no scoreboard pressure. We lost wickets to part timers in that game.

I just wanted to point out the one thing here, most likely, the team batting first will win. India vs Pakistan, even 250 is a big total!

I would say Final because psychologically for the Indians, the CT final will be on the back of their minds. They might just feel extra mental baggage on the day.
