Dude you are always arrogant against teams like BD, Afghanistan, Srilanka. People predict based on how these teams have been doing well. INdia has entered conseuctive multi national tournaments without dropping a game and won 2. So expecting them to beat pakistan easily is not arrogance. Betting odds say India has 80% chance. Go to any betting website and check the odds. Projection based on certain metrics, recent form. If the name is Australia instead of India with same odds and if Australian is confident you won't call that arrogance.

Indians are, Pakistanis are not.

Pakistan and India are facing each other for the first time in Asia Cup finals.

Both countries have been going through some rough times as always but both countries have been staying strong and trying their hardest to do better.

On one hand we have Pakistan, going through its most corrupted cricket board but any tournament win always brings smile to the public and that's what cricket in Pakistan is all about. No one will remember under who's board Pakistan won a major tournament.

On the other hand, we have India who is already suffering from getting its 6 planes downed and losing billions in the process. And not only that they also are facing shame and being shunned from major countries and not being taken seriously by them anymore. Things at India so bad that the indian captain couldn't control his emotions and started babbling about the incident in the press conference.

maybe this Asia Cup win will put smiles on indian faces and they would think this is revenge for 6-0 in their mind.

atleast we do get to the finals, always among the top 2 teams in the tournaments.

At a certain level, you've got to admire the Pakistanis. Especially folks like that Glory guy. They've been thrashed again and again for years and yet they come into every game with renewed enthusiasm and innocent confidence that this is the time their bunch of plucky misfits are going to do it.

This time they're up against possibly the greatest T20 team in history or if not, certainly the one with the most incredible record but the sweet belief that their jazba and junoon can overcome is still there.

I wouldn't have it any other way to be honest. If they were the Bangladeshis who also have a chip on their shoulder about us and want desperately to beat India but go into every game expecting to lose, it wouldn't be half as fun.

Most others would've despaired years ago but these guys just keep going and making the games fun. I do hope they win the odd game to continue the energy. Just not this one!

This made me chuckle. We are a mediocre team no doubt about it. If the opposition aren’t shafting us then our own board does it. But occasionally we can punch above our weight when the stars align. If you want to think of a lower ranked team beating an almost invincible opposition then disappearing back into mediocrity just think of the 1983 World Cup.
