Can see it happening. Tbh, anyone out of the other three teams can make it to the final against India. The quality of these teams is quite poor so anyone can go through by having a couple of good days.
 
In all honesty it’s not even a competition with the current lot but at least play with heart. Try to run hard, save runs in the field and show you are up for a fight …
 
Pakistan need to bring some changes.unfortunately they have only batsman Hussain Talat sitting ..they have selected far too many pacers. Another middle order batter could have give them some option. Out of this squad this should be the playing 11.

Pakistan need to think differently. Their openers are struggling big time. Need to bring fresh pair and fresh idea . Both Fakhar and Nawaz are quite capable and are natural openers . Saim and Farhaan combo is big flop so far
 
No matter who Pakistan fields in their XI, they are no match for Team India. The only thing that can save Pakistan is the uncertainty of the format and it being a 20 over game. Even then India should win 90% of the time.
Pakistan needs some incredible performances like the Fakhar batting and Amit bowling in 2017 CT.
This time Fakhar and one of Shaheen/Abrar needs to have an amazing game. I highly doubt they will pull it off. Needs to be seen.
 
Oh I completely forget we are playing today against Oman before Pakistan. It's means we are playing two game in last them 48 hours :kp
 
Hope for a good contest this time with Pakistani team waiting for a revenge. First game was boring and India also didn't perform well in closing out Pakistan innings. Hope both sides bring their A game.

I like this combo. Instead of faheem have Salman Mirza.he might succeed against India due to novelty factor
 
Hopefully Gill isn’t in playing 11. I won’t be surprised if PCT finally manage to win.. SKY’s captaincy is here and there

GIll should have never played this after a long test series.Bumrah too. I don't mind India sitting Gill out. Wish we had Jaiswal in the bench.
 
Pakistan's only chance of beating India is by bowling first.

Hope India go too hard in the first innings and post a below-par score.

Pakistan batsmen are too stupid to post a good first innings score.

Reddy had a knee injury after aus tour.he had a surgery before ipl .so it may take some time but he should be fine by aus t20 series i think.dube will have serious challenge there.dube is a threat against spinners but every good team have express pacers to counter him.

Now that we've qualified better to rest a few.
feel Jassi, Hardik take a rest for better reco to their bodies, also Sanju and always good to try out a another combo opening at the top. Arshi and rana can handle the opening burst and three spinners + Abhi & Shivam should be good for our bowling effort.

@sweep_shot - you had commented that India got a favourable schedule and enough days in between matches compared to other teams - same old same old -ve but consistent gravy train.

I don't think they will do any drastic change as T20 is about momentum..they may only try changing the batting orders of few and bring in Harshit (Gautis favourite) in place of Bumrah..
 
What will be funny is IND beating Pak in both group stage + Super Four but losing in the Final against them. Maybe that is the writing on the wall like CT 2017?

Yeah, another takedown. You lied about me not posting after the Sunday match thread, when in reality I was busy smashing hypocrites like you who were calling for a boycott before the match but happily showed up later to smash them further. The phainty you keep getting from me in every thread never stops you from asking for more.

So here is a challenge for you: I will show you at least 50 of my posts after the match in the last 4 days, and then you will apologize for lying and crawl back to your hole. Accepted? I always said it’s a battle between Indian Spinners and Pak batters, remaining all are irrelevant. Whoever takes a lead in that day will win the game for their country.

If pak has to win they need to think out of box. Play with their batting order, maybe brining shaheen up the order but i am sure he has been found out by indian think tank. They will not bowl him loose deliveries now on.

Maybe giving a go to hassan nawaz at the top order. Bring him one down. I see no chance for Pakistan really. But in T20s anything is possible. So better to wait for luck than skills

Salman and Farhan (if he survives) have to take on spinners. That's the only way and they are capable enough batters against any spin.

Hassan Nawaz will also need to show his ability. But this is his 1st tournament now so not all should depend on him.
 
Only hope is to surprise them and throw off their plans.

Send Shaheen as a pinch hitter.

I think he's overrated as a batsman but he's in good form and even a couple of streaky shots can turn the momentum pakistan's way/ eat into the nervy first couple of overs and worst case we are 1 down which has been happening anyway.

This pak team is one of the worst going around. It will be another humiliating defeat to India whether it batting first or chasing.

India could be ao for 90 and I would still back their bowling attack to defend it against pak
 
Whoever advicing here to send shaheen up the order, please note it shaheen is going to fail as a batter against India. Indian think tank must have done their homework for shaheen. They will surely track him bowling off side deliveries

Pak bat deep till 10 but need to pick balls to chose to attack not to attack blindly they need to learn intent is not always about slogging but picking the right balls too

just back them u dont want to go back to babar rizwan's 65 for none in 10 overs atleast they have right mindset for t20s
these pitches are not that suitable they need to slightly tamper their batting
 
Pakistan might have chance on flat pitch where you can rely on one two players having good day and good luck and outbat india, but on slightly helpful or helpful pitches bowling quality gap is just too much and you could say indian players are well equipped to play spin.

But most likely it'll be spin pitch so i think best bet for pakistan is to bowl first and test india batting with 4 spinners, then play according to target.

On batting tracks, India scored 250 against eng (Mumbai)and 290 odd against sa ( wanderers) . Pak best chance is to chase and hope for an Indian collapse on sticky first innings.

I specifically said that before Sunday's match you were challenging/instigating Indian posters about the boycott, which never happened.

But after the match and all that happened - you never asked Pak posters or suggested pak posters/pct/pcb to boycott the next game vs UAE/Tournament- comprend'e?

Luck and someone having good day can change it, Pak batters are capable of scoring any total on flat tracks.
 
Why do they always put India's main games in Dubai? It is a type of cheating.

In no other sport, any country gets such blatantly favorable scheduling. India turned this sport into a joke.

India today game is at abu dhabi .

Super -4 Schedule is

A1 vs A2 - Dubai
A2 vs B1 - Abu Dhabi
A1 vs B2 - Dubai
A2 vs B2 - Dubai
A1 vs A1 - Dubai

These games fixed when tournament schedule was announced and no one will know who will be A1 ,A2, B1 and b2

Yea teams score 240, 250 at Wankhede, Jo burg every day of the week. You somehow equate Oman bowling to ARcher, Wood, Adil Rashid anywhere. We have to develop braincells? lol Even with older set up Inscored 212 against Afghanistan at Dubai supposedly "spin paradise". India has crossed 240 in the last 12 months three times against regular nations. rest of the world crossed three times in all. Ireland scored 225 at abudhabhi even in 2013. India made 212 at Abudhabhi as well way back in 2021.
