Well, I am glad the series is happening as is. I for one think, this Asia Cup will be pretty competitive even though the gap is quite huge on paper between IND vs rest of Asian teams. Problem is, how will rest of the teams handle Bumrah? I was hoping to see one of Kamboj/Khaleel/Despande.

I think IND is absolutely beatable once if one of Abishek Sharma or Tilak Verma is taken out early.

I remember Tilak from 2019/2020 U19 batch. He wasnt even that good at that time, but the Indian system transformed him.

Two guys who played the most crucial role in the world T20 final were Dube and Axar. IT is more than two or three players. Samson scored 3 centuries in 4 matches. WOuld have been nicer to have Jaiswal and Iyer. But SKY had the best IPL season in his career recently. Gill is the only question mark. Guy can bat all 20 overs. But he likes to play at 3rd gear safely. Also not the greatest player on sluggish wickets. I would have rather had Sai Sudarshn or Ruturaj who made 129 in 57 balls against Australia and never picked again.

Is there a conspiracy theory that pcb and bcci are actually working together in the back milking on these rivalries and war like situation somehow bcci is taking care of pcb … and every time the contest gets so much hype that the dollar and money value shoots to the roof

Not in T20. He is not "miles ahead" of anyone because his attitude is still the same Kohli attitude. Also he is not dominant against spin. Also he is not a big over guy. He hits a 4 or 6 and takes a single. You cannot bat like that with current set up. You have to maximize it.

Abhishek seems to be a dangerous batsman that needs to go early.
Gill has performed against Pakistan but he is no Kohli.
SKY is a bottler against us.
Haven't seen much of Tilak and Dube.
Pandya can be tamed through pace.
Who is Jitesh ?

India will be playing with two proper fast bowlers and Pandya. Arshdeep is halwa bowler although he can trouble Farhan in first over. Bumrah in Dubai was tamed by RizBabar. Axar Patel was smashed around by Iftikhar in Melbourne.

Kuldeep can trouble us. Agha and Fakhar's role will be crucial against him. Pandya is usually good against us with the ball. He uses short ball effectively and Hassan Nawaz is weak on backfoot. M Nawaz did smashed Pandya in Dubai.

This match will be a lot closer than many people think. Pakistan threw away matches from winning position twice before.
Our batting is stronger than bowling. If our bowlers step up, we've got this.
