Yesterday's Pakistan South Africa match resembled 1999 World Cup Super Six match.

Yesterday's thrilling one day match resembled and brought back memories of that epic 1999 world cup super six encounter between two countries.

Pakistan at one stage were looking not even getting past 200 in 1999 match, until Moin Khan's heroics took them to 220.

Pakistan then took early wickets and reduced Proteas to 60/4. Azhar Mehmood bowled brilliantly.

But then Pollock Kallis and Klusener did the consolidation job and sealed the deal late in the game.

Yesterday's story was no different, we were struggling to get 150, ended up on 204 and reduced them to 80/5. Then script changed completely.

Nope, that match was more close, Pak was in the match till last overs, and pak didn't start poorly, they were around 90/2 or something like this before some loss of wickets but was never a complete collapse like yesterday.
Your batting reminded me more of 2013 series first match, which you won against South Africa.

I remember watching this match. SA was sitting pretty with 3 for 150 and then Wasim and Waqar started to swing the ball like crazy. SA was bundled out for 160 odd. It was different for us because the game started in the evening and it was live on Star Sports.
