Honestly Fakhar might not be the best batsman we have, but if you are amassing runs in domestics at such a rate you definitely deserve an extended run.


Cricket is not all about technique... if all selections were made on whether a batsman has textbook technique then someone like Steve Smith would never have made it to international cricket let alone prosper.
 
cricinfo is saying taimoor khas is 26 years old. but in commentary they said he is 21
 
This Taimoor does not only have poor domestic numbers but indeed he is a " Faarigh " player.


Whoever selected him based on draft system should be ashamed of himself.


For that person I ll fit Misbah's sentence which he uttered for Umar Akmal when he refused a second run in a match.

Irfan is a poor limited overs bowler. Few variations and that too are poorly disguised.

PS it's a lovely weather to play cricket.

I like this Agha guy.. he should be in the squad plans by end of 2017 early 2018. Perfect like for like replacement for Hafeez.

ehsan adil's head drops down too much just before releasing the ball.. literally not seeing the batsman at all...
 
taimur khan scoring 41(40) .. expecting hafeez to play like he is playing in England under overcast conditions facing anderson..

Federal top 4 batsmen are tuk-tuks who only pick up pace after getting a selfish 50, but the lower order is very good

azhar, shehzad, hafeez all are undroppable for mickey, dont be surprised if fakhar dont get a game
 
Would like to see haris play a match winning knock of 100 or 150 while hafeez bottles it as usual. Will be a big slap to Inzi

Anyway, I don't understand, why you try to do this, time & again - make a false statement, then tag the person!!!!! You can easily get away with such cheap antics without tagging, which 'll save my time as well - otherwise, I was too busy today to notice this. I don't want to block any poster, but you should grow up - trying same cheap trick is pure idiocy, particularly if you try that in blogs, where comments are kept in record, and this is not the first time I had to do this - I suggest, grow up; you can't see, but should feel the other posters are having pity at you, reading my post.

Fakhar is in great touch & there is not much option left, on top of that he is a lefti opener. Above all, he is already selected, therefore no point positing negatives on him - I am sure, you have noticed that I kept him at No. 1 for all 3 PAK matches. BUT, that doesn't mean his technique is flawed, his stance is cramped & his grip is extremely bottom gripped, added with bottom hand power, he ends up slicing almost everything in off side, which is not exposed in these condition - still, in that very match, he was out to exactly that fault; slicing a left arm spinner to deep mid off, in an attempt to clear mid wicket.

Never mind, don't post just to pull someone down - at least don't do that to awkward customers, it only brings bitterness & embarrassment.

Phatta track and bowlers with no pace, its so easy to score. How come on those wickets we don't produce fast bowlers?? - We used to produce fast bowlers because of such tracks, either they don't play on those wickets regularly or there is no self esteem left in bowlers...How can you be bowling in 125/130 on such wickets??

I have a whole multitude of your conspiracy posts saved up. Just last match you said Agha Salman is sent no earlier than 7 because it is a PCB policy decision to not develop Hafeez's competition. Well guess what he came in at 4 today.
 
Pakistan wickets are unmatched. You'll never find wickets as flat as these anywhere else, which is great for developing bowlers. If they were a bit faster, they'd be ideal.
 
Hafeez just saved a life of an innocent moth who came to the pitch, now Hafeez will be rewarded an extended run in the team based on that performance

Cricket is learned in FC games, not List As - they don't play FC on such wickets. Moreover, FC matches in PAK is played for 250-260 overs duration, which doesn't build pacers physically.

Self esteem comes, when a pacer is spanked around - in QA style, even 125km dibly doblies make batsmen dance around ......
 
Tanvir came into the team with sole purpose to accommodate Hafeez so that he can get another 100

Farhan was probably selected on the basis of his QeA output, he made 500 runs at 41/65 type stats.

Thankfully, he seems to be more suited than the others to List A cricket. His QeA SR also reflects that - Imam-ul-Haq's was 45...

I think it's because they don't play on such wickets often.

Make this the norm and bowlers will have to find a way...

Good, this is better - looks like medicine worked.

I still believe, PCB hasn't developed any off spin all-rounder for 6 years, which has kept MoHa's spot safe, without competition & someone to look behind shoulders. You don't believe that, fair enough.

Syed Bhaee if you watched him bat please give your insight here on in Agha's thread.


A month with Saqlain and He will be a better replacement of Hafeez. He is accurate but pivot needs lots of work hence revs and spin will improve. No one better than Saqi to help him.
