Final ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand washed out as series ends in a 1-1 draw

SarfiBabarHaris did you watch Haris bat today? He looked like he was batting on a different pitch. Definitely sent a message.

It was pointless slecting Asif over Imad. Asifshpuld only play 20:20 and perform consistently before ever getting selected for ODI.

Worker doesnt know where the ball is going

Does Harris bowl regularly in Domestic?
He doesnt. One of the reasons why domestic coaches arent worth a dime. He has natural spin bowling ability. A natural loop, dip and spin. He could have become a very good bowling option if his talent was honed in his younger years. However, we can say that might have taken its toll on his batting because of divided focus.

Incredible innings from Haris, provided his skill-set. Credit where it’s due. Didn’t expect him to bat at that click, although he did throw it away eventually.

Good chance for Pakistan to finish this off.

Shaheen's wide balls remind me of Wasim when he was searching for swing in his first few overs

Yep bro and I was sad & surprised too that why didn't he play in odis for last one year when Sarfraz himself is a fan of Haris' batting.

Hopefully Malik's or Hafeez's (ideally both) career is end now.

Movement of the ball comes naturally to Shaeen with both new and old ball

People who think chasing 280 is easy in the UAE really should watch a bit more cricket before they open their mouth.

NZ might well chase it, but odds are well in favor of Pakistan right now.

Pak should cruise to victory now. It will be an utter humiliation if we dont win this now :yk

Guys whats the reason today?

Fluke?
Luck?
Bogey team?
Dead pitch?
Lucky to lose toss?
Law of averages?

The suspense is killing me :ssmith

Dubai has historically been better for team batting second under lights which India also showed in the Asia Cup.

But yea NZ seems to be choking here.

Faheem as a bowler averaging 21 after 17 games, outperforming some main bowlers.

Acceleration is very hard in the UAE, hence the low scores, hence also why 280 here is equal to 315 in other countries

May as well play him as a bowler, he doesn't seem to be giving much output with the bat

He is being played as a bowler mainly now a days but in the meantime he can develop his batting as well.

Its raining.... NZ might get away with a draw

Luckly we won toss otherwise nz whold have made around 250 on this difficult pitch. And if pak chased that total then that was because of batting under light

You missed the final I guess.

There will always be games here and there but in general it has always favoured teams batting second. Abu Dhabi on the other side is horrible for teams batting second.

So yea Dubai is the only place in the UAE where teams batting second have a slight advantage. The reason people were not too sure about the score.

But I think Pak has scored much more than the par 1st innings score for that chasing thing to come into play. Though you never know

Seems to me Haris Sohail is the only batsman in the country who can bat you to a win

Malik with fumble. Now if he were anyone else barring Hafeez fielding there, Saifi: sdfasgafbhaeftgheatfvsd

Yeah it’s worse in Abu Dhabi, since the new ball always swings a bit more under lights. But it’s not easy to chase 280 anywhere in the UAE. Shadab and Hafeez will come into play on a pitch getting slower and lower by the over.

Just like India are completely dependent on Rohit and Kohli, Pakistan are wholely dependent on Zaman and Azam, if either of those two pairs fail together, their team loses

First of my six predicted wickets for SSA witha gem of a ball

I would say Farhar even more so.

Fakhar's fast starts allow Babar and others to play themselves in

Or Australia without Smith and Warner. Or England without Root and Morgan. Or SA without ABD and Amla.

Every team falls apart when you remove the two best batsmen on the team.

Two boundaries off Rana...... some in Peshawar must be doing bhangra :)))

I can never understand why batsmen in general don't target Faheem more.
