If PTI is to remain part of the system to bring this change then it MUST adjust it's policies to accomodate well known electables. In Bhutto's era, even a "Khamba" could win him a seat in certain areas but he had to make adjustments in plenty of Punjab constituencies.
Nawaz Sharif in 2013 was much more stronger than even 90s due to Zardari's beyond belief patheticness but he had to accept about 100 Musharaff/PMLQ electables (his biggest enemies). These people supported Musharaff when Nawaz was kicked out and of Pakistan Nawaz's biggest defenders on media are Danial Aziz, Talal Ch, Marvi Memon, Zahid Hamid and many more.
Other option Imran has is to oppose this system and join Tahir ul Qadri who says is system is flawed and only a revolution is required.
If she's corrupt then I am afraid I cannot back this decision. I am sorry but regardless of banter and everything this is not acceptable especially for someone who might have a veto to pass on a law for Pakistanis.
Don't get me wrong I love IK and would vote for him regardless but still I can't back this decision at all...... Can't be a hypocrite......

Finally PTI learning the real electables politics of Punjab and most of the Pakistan. That's the only way to get in power.
Btw are there any major financial corruption cases against Firdos Apa? I personally never heard of any
I respect neutrals raising questions but i was laughing when i saw some PMLN supporters bashing PTI for lota politics because half of PMLN cabinet was part of Musharraf govt in past. Marvi memon, danial, amir maqam, zahid hamid, mushahid hussain, hamayun and haroon akhtar and the list is very long

Junoonis are falling over themselves and clutching at straws to defend the undefendable, which is standard procedure because their sad devotion to the savior is religious. In addition, they have completely mastered the art of diversion and deflecting attention to PML-N/PPP/basically anyone in the firing range.
Firdous Ashiq Awan is the 'tabdeeli' we were promised.
The excuse that she is an 'electable' doesn't fly either. Yes she is, but this is not what PTI stood for; this is not what the PTI manifesto was in the first place. In his desperation to become the PM, will he sacrifice everything that he and his party stood for? Apparently yes, so what is difference between PTI and the rest? Oh yes yes, as long as Imran is not financially corrupt, nothing else matters.
Nonetheless, our savior says that we got the wrong candidates this time so wait for the next term. He also admits no Ehtesab was done this term so please wait for the next five years. Does that mean he gets rid of Jahangir Tareen, the rest of the offshore-stricken candidates and the present KP cabinet? All of them were named by Justice Wajihuddin if we recall.
Bottom line: According to him he failed miserably (but since he plans to go to a rehab, he will be wiser next time) but wasn't Ehtesab the reason we voted him in?
pti has become a joke, bringing on the same garbage that we have been seeing all these years. i think that pti has no choice but to accept what is happening. new people are not coming into politics as every one knows that it is dirty, so the only way to grow the party is to get experienced yet garbage people in the party.
Imran tried Idealistic politics in 2013, out of 35% tickets to youth only ONE person won a seat. If Imran sticks to this ideology, then ONLY option he will have to change the system is through street agitation, dharna, protests (Tahir ul Qadri style). Even i was great admirer of his approach, no electables, only youth, only educated people blah blah (still have plenty of such posts on PP) but i spent good 5-6 years close to politics and know that Imran has absolutely no option but to go for electables if he wants to change the system from within.

Electables won't bring tabdeeli, no matter how much Insaaf washing powder is used. Party leader alone cannot make the difference. Also, Imran has a history of letting the wrongdoings of his friends brush under the carpet and not holding them accountable, so expect these lotas to continue with their old ways.
Some of them are corrupt and some of them are not, but all of them are equally incompetent who have done nothing for the country in their previous posts, and will not do anything now. It is very naive to think that just because they are with PTI now, they will change.
The fact is that Imran is absolutely desperate to get into power, and he will use any means to get there. He has lowered his moral standing and back-tracked from his own manifesto in which people believed. He is just another politician now and PTI is just another party.
It is disappointing that PTI are recruiting these electables, as Mamoon said it doesn't matter that they are corrupt or not as most of them are incompetent.
So what is your suggestion?
Keep the same young candidates that they had for 2013 General Election, If they can do something about the rigging the result wouldn't be like the previous election.
No doubt there was rigging in certain constituencies where PTI had strong candidates but if you check election results, most of young candidates lost by 50,000 (some even 100,000 votes). If you watch different shows where anchors ask people in streets who they would vote for & why, 95% candidates based votes go to someone known for resolving local issues and has influence in thana/kachehri etc. Hardly 5% vote based on candidate's education level or age. Then there is caste, contacts, money etc so as unfortunate it is, MAJORITY of rural constituencies are impossible for new/young candidates.
In KPK PTI awarded tickets to new and young candidates and MANY won there and they are going for new candidates ditching even those who won in 2013 but couldn't contribute in National/Provincial assembly.
As much as Nawaz/Zardari supporters want people to believe PTI is like other parties, they have proven in KPK they are far different by giving power to local bodies that Nawaz/Zardari gang has failed to do. NOt only devolution of power but provided much needed funds to ALL non PTI reps. Compare this with Sharif clan that doesn't believe in gving funds to even non PMLN MNAs/MPAs. Same goes for police, givig up power to empower institutions. THIS is how change comes, not by finding angels in this corrupt system.
A person like Pervez Khattak would've never given up power if he wasn't operating under Imran.
Ideally we would go for young, middle class educated candidates only but how many of them can win their seats when a typical candidates spends millions on elections?
Again, we come back to square one. What difference has he made? his main programmer was Ehtesab. Why has he held no Ehtesab in the province? Why is the Ehtisab commission redundant without a chairman since 18 months? Why was Hamid removed?
So she has joined pti. Thus knowing the internet pti supporter all hwr wrong doings have been dry cleaned
PTI should had not taken this lota.PTIs faultSo is she back to normal now?

Awan says she was on self-exile over ‘differences in narrative’
Firdous Ashiq Awan has claimed that she was on self-exile from the PTI over the last year over differences in her and Imran Khan’s narratives.
In a press conference at the Islamabad Press Club, she said: “Imran Khan’s agenda is like poison for Pakistan and this agenda … I am a victim of this agenda too … he becomes an enemy to his friends first.”
Awan alleged that the PTI chief used people like “tissue papers” and then discarded them when “his work is done”.
“This is the reason why PTI has reached a dead end today.”
