FM Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari collects Rs1.03tr in donations from UN countries in one hour

Ok so if he collected so much then what is this rona dhona for?

==

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday that donors had committed to give more than $8 billion to help Pakistan recover from last year’s devastating floods.

The pledges came as the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan kicked off in Geneva. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is co-hosting the conference along with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

The purpose of the day-long moot — attended by heads of state and government and other stakeholders — is to marshal international support to rehabilitate the population affected by super floods and reconstruct damaged infrastructure in a climate-resilient manner.

PM Shehbaz sought $8bn from Pakistan’s international partners over the next three years to rebuild the country as Guterres called for massive support to aid the rebuilding effort.

Unless the donor's have another agenda no one is giving a penny to these crooks.

Bikaris in full mode! Their fans will praise this begging now. Yes, Bilawal is an expert bikari.

They ate the country and now want others to save it from default. Best for the country to default so all the crooks are fully exposed. Khan should stay well clear.

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Monday fired a broadside at Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his cabinet members for allegedly spending a huge amount on their “flopped” trip to Geneva to attend the donor conference since the moot was held via video link, as no important leader had turned up at the event.

The party’s senior vice president Fawad Chaudhry said France, the host, gave $10 million, but not a single important leader participated in the conference.

He questioned that if the entire conference was to be held through video link, why was there a need to travel to Geneva, according to a statement issued by the party’s central media department.

“The money did not come, but several lakhs of dollars were spent on the visits of the prime minister and his cabinet [members],” he lamented.

And he should have added the even better news, not a paisa will reach the poor sods who's lives have been destroyed and the money will be shared between a few families and Generals to be safely invested in Dubai, London, Paris etc

These donations are just stop gap measures. When will the donations be used to make a long term impact for these guys in education or to improve their overall financial situation. Is there any university in Sindh where Bilawal holds power which in the long run allows the people there to improve their livelihoods?

This is all non-sense. They will donate rations of food and they will run out a year later and again we will have to head out to beg to the international community.

They're not donations, a large chunk of it are loans ie. more borrowing.

One year on from floods, millions of Pakistani children still need urgent support, warns UNICEF

Agency says its appeal of $173.5mn to provide life-saving support remains only 57% funded

Millions of children in Pakistan remain in need of humanitarian assistance and access to essential services as the country still teeters with the effects of historic floods which devastated Pakistan last year, warned the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Friday.

The UN agency, in a statement, said the recovery and rehabilitation efforts remain underfunded.

UNICEF estimates there are still 8 million people, around half of whom are children, that continue to live without access to safe water in flood-affected areas. Over 1.5 million children require lifesaving nutrition interventions in flood-affected districts.

The agency informed that its appeal of $173.5 million to provide life-saving support remains only 57% funded.

“Vulnerable children living in flood-affected areas have endured a horrific year,” said Abdullah Fadil, UNICEF Representative in Pakistan.

“As the monsoon rains return, the fear of another climate disaster looms large. Recovery efforts continue, but many remain unreached, and the children of Pakistan risk being forgotten.”

Where has Billos trillion gone. Two possibilities- it wasn't offered or they have stolen it. Billo the clown needs to explain

It was done to show down Imran.

Who cares about the people?
We knew that but do you remember certain contributers telling Billo had rebuilt PKs relations, whereas in fact the clown spent billions from a poor country going on extended holidays

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday collected about Rs1.03 trillion from the member countries of the United Nations (UN) just in one hour.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, after the appeal of Foreign Minister Bilawal, America gave Rs6.5 billion in donations to Pakistan for the help of flood affectees.

On the appeal of Bilawal, the member states of the UN including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, World Health Organization, UNICEF, Red Crescent and Red Cross responded positively.

While China, Turkey, America, United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and other countries also announced immediate aid after Bilawal’s appeal.

The channel report said that in addition to the cash assistance, the UN member countries have also provided aid in tents, medicines, food and other necessary and important items for the flood-hit people in Pakistan.

How much is a trillion @Major Sahib. Was I lying or was you?

You used this " success" to beat us about his diplomatic skills. So did the $10bn come,if it did, where did it go? And if it didn't why did he lie

Was this fake news Major Sahib. If the money came, where did it go?

Major

Firstly, I agree we have to give credit to Bilawal for raising 1tn rupees. PTI fans are showing their true colours here.

First they were criticising the government for not doing enough and now they're still crying. Most of them are so ignorant it's unbelievable. They think it's that simple to steal that money for yourself.

I mean sure it may not be a 100% donation policy however IMF and the donors would want some kind of guarantee (with sufficient evidence) that the agreed percentage of the fund has gone to those needed.

My question is there an audit which can prove where the money has to gone?
Do you still credit? Us pesky PTI supporters asking awkward questions. Who.was right?

had this been PTI's govt, wouldn't there fans attributed the credit to Imran or his FM?

KKWC specifically asked me about how much bilawal did and I made this thread in response to it.
@KingKhanWC
This was in response to you. Billo brought in trillions. Its just that no one knows where it is. Did @Major spread fake news 🤔

Please update me. What has happened?
Nothing. There was no money, it was just a Billo PR stunt. The reason it came up is that @Major called us Jahil for pointing out that Nani wasted millions on a family holiday to Japan, HK and Thailand at the expense of a poor country. I just brought up this thread to remind major who the real Jahil is and I just saw your comment and decided to quote it, as you always take the side of these criminals

Do not engage with this individual. This guy was running a toxic campaign, demanding for IK to be given death penalty. @IMMY69 did the right thing to put him in his place when he referred to him as an imbecile.

Even @Rana , who doesn't approve of IK/PTI, voiced his concerns about Major's toxic campaign at the time.

Sorry, I will not be taking lessons on morality from someone who used to support the Tareen family. If you want to know my stance, well I hold the same view of both him and Malik Riaz.

@Mamoon also called for IKs death along side his whole family and anyone that supports him. Why haven't you called him out. I appreciate your honesty and I maybe wrong but whenever you seem to post( or at least the ones I read) mamoon gets a free ride from you and his posts are evil. I take your point about JKT and all I can say is that I was wrong. As a middle class person that lives a comfortable life( Shukar Alhamdulillah), I could not( or didnt want to) believe that JKT would be so greedy because an extra billion or trillion or gazillion would not make any difference to his life- he cant physically eat money. I sincerely thought he had changed but I was wrong and I am embarrassed at defending him.

As far as Major is concerned- he accused me of being guilty of murder as I had brought a plot in DHA over a deacde and half ago and some Colonel and his daughter tragically drowned. He said the land was illegally occupied by DHA and I was guilty by buying it. I said that was fine and as I never got it anyway, they should cancel my plot (that i may or may not receive) along with everyone else's. I asked @Major to write a letter to relevant authorities and get all of them cancelled. I also asked major who was in power from 2008, around the time brought my plot. And guess what major went tuss because AZ the "good guy" would be exposed. You are right, he is a disgustingly dishonest.

I genuinely don't remember seeing this. If he did that I don't agree with it. But just remember with him you can never tell if he's serious or being a contrarian for his own motives.

As for Major, I will respond to your other post (see below).

This doesn't surprise me one bit. The toxic agendas and hate filled campaigns are there for everyone to see. A prime example being the thread where he was basically begging for IK to be sentenced to death. I can promise the OP was being serious. I've tried to reason with him but I guess he will have to answer to Allah (SWT). I'm a sinner but asking for the death of someone just because you don't agree with his politics is symptomatic of an extremist.

There's a number of things I don't agree with Mamoon on, but you're quite right my energy for him isn't the same because I've yet to see him stoop this low and become so desperate, where he's had to go and resort to making a thread and plead for the death sentence to be given to IK.

The energy i have seen from him is venomous. I know I go too far, and that is an issue I have, but make no mistake, this is me and dont do it to troll. Can you imagine being a soul that is so evil that it wants to kill an innocent man (in IKs case) or kill innocent PKs because they are a threat to your leaders power. There is something sadistic and evil about these people

Any person who calls Imran Khan a traitor can not be taken seriously. As simple as that.

Imran khan the traitor should be hanged till death for the treason he has committed.

This verdict was passed for Musharaffe, than surely it should be passed for Imran, inshallah

First hang Bilawal for being a son of a whore and getting bummed by David James. InshaAllah.

All I have to say is fear the Almighty, you will have to answer him one day.

It is more than likely this "verdict" was politically motivated simply because IK fell out with the establishment. We all know you don't care about the verdict, you just want him dead because you don't agree with his politics. That makes you an extremist.

Lastly, I can quite confidently say you are no legal expert. By your own admission, you had academic issues, so to be frankly honest you're the last person on PP I would trust on legal matters.

They are your judges and your courts and no case, not one. And the reason- he tried to give the PK a vote to stop the Millitary coup and had the elections gone ahead none of the below would have happened. The law was clear and the SC erred- parliament is sovereign. They knew it and still betrayed PK people

So tell me mafia s*ank, a stolen election, a coup, overthrown constitution, no elections after a SC order, court orders ignored. So loser tell me who should hang for those real treacherous acts. And at this point you will run off

@Major
You have run off. Please reply to all the crimes I have listed and are worthy of hanging. I forgot to add the oath that Munir broke as a Soldier.
