- Bangla Tigers Mississauga's Iftikhar Ahmed finished as the 8th top run-scorer in the tournament, scoring 124 runs in 6 matches at an average of 24.80 and a strike rate of 96.12, with only one fifty, while taking only 1 wicket with the ball at an economy rate of 10.66.
- Vancouver Knights' Asif Ali didn't impress much either, with limited exposure in 6 matches, scoring 48 runs in 5 innings at a strike rate of 141.17.
- Vancouver Knights' Mohammad Amir finished the tournament as the 8th highest wicket-taker, taking 9 wickets in 7 matches at an economy rate of 5.10.
- Toronto Nationals' Mohammad Nawaz took 4 wickets in 6 matches at an economy rate of 5.57 and an average of 23.00; despite taking fewer wickets, his side, Toronto Nationals, won GT20 2024.

Cricket Canada terminated the contract with Bombay Sports in December 2024 due to breaches, and have signed an agreement with NCL Canada since then, who will oversee the governance and organize the event in the future.

NCL Canada stakeholders confirmed that it is very less time they had after the contract signing to host the event in a rush, and decided against it. Mayor of Brampton also confirmed that GT20 Canada won't be happening this year, also stating that they are building a Cricket Stadium, in collaboration with Cricket Canada, for hosting International Cricket in the future.
