Real Name : Mahnain Khattak, a little girl from Peshawar who used to be Admin at this great forum has sadly passed away at the age of 28.

She passed away due to Emphysema, which advanced to a critical stage after the birth of her child. Many of you newer members may not know her, but I believe the OGs and the Admins still remember her well. She was one of the finest female posters on this forum, especially in the Cricket section, and truly one of the best Admins we ever had the privilege to work with.

I humbly request you all to remember her in your kind prayers.

And my heartfelt request to the Admins: please never change the banner and background of this forum. She designed them years ago, and I often visit just to see her graphic work and read her old posts.

Rest in peace.

Inna lilahi wa inna ilyhi rajioon. How sad, prayers for her young family.

Oh this is such sad news 😢

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends and of course the PP moderators who knew her well.

May she rest in peace

Rest in peace.

Forum's banner and background shows her dedication to the community - apart from speaking volumes about talent that young pakistanis have.

Inna lilahi wa inna ilyhi rajioon.

I remember her. She was a great poster. This news is truly shocking.

Prayers for her family, and may Allah forgive all her sins and grant her a place in Jannah.

Heart breaking news. I remember #Greenroars and had some interactions with her in certain threads although I never realized she was a young girl. I’m devastated to know this news, especially after knowing she had given birth to a child, that’s so tough for her family to cope with. My thoughts and prayers are with them in this moment.

I have not still recovered from the loss of Dhoni183 bhai.

May God bless you all and I hope to not hear such news anytime soon.

Condolences to her family . Sad to read

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illahi Rajiyoon

She was indeed one of the best moderator we have

This is so very sad

When I was an admin she was very heplful and friendly not just to admins but to members too. Incredibly sad especially as she had a small child.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

My prayers are with her loved ones. She was an incredibly talented person with such a passion for her work and her contributions to PakPassion cannot be appreciated enough.

I hope there is a way for PakPassion to dedicate the background in her name forever.

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiuun

May Allah make it easy for her family.

I remember her, used to be super active on here and yes was good with graphics, I agree with OP, let’s keep her banner up.

Sad to read this esp because back when she was active cricket forum used to be at its peak so there was a lot of hal chal and activity and she used to post quite a bit. Always very cordial and nice in our conversations esp during those Pak v Ind banter moments whenever there was a clash… those memories is what makes it even more sad

I have never interacted with her but I know her.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

May Allah (SWT) grant her Jannah.

What a terrible loss-May Allah grant her Jannat. Can you pass on our sincerest condolences to her family.

This is truly heart-breaking news. Greenroars was one of the best moderators, and I had the privilege of engaging in many debates with her, especially during the 2015 World Cup. At the time, I didn’t realize she was a woman, and being a silly Indian cricket fan than I am, I often got into heated discussions trying to prove why my team was better than hers. Yet, she always remained calm and composed, never losing her patience.

Rest in peace. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Inna lillahi wa inna alaihi raji oon! May Allah bless her soul in heaven and give peace and sabr to her family.
I don't remember the poster. That's probably just my bad memory.

Very sad news .Rip. I never realised she is girl even after reading few of her posts.

No way, had always been a sister to me, and kept sending me prayers every now and then. Heartbroken, this has hit me really hard.

Rest in peace my sister. ❤️

Inna lilahi wa inna ilyhi rajioon.

My sincere condolences to all her family and friends.

Very sad news.

She died from Emphysema complication. It is a progressive lung disease.

Here's from AI:

There is no cure for emphysema, though treatments can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. Emphysema is a chronic lung condition, part of COPD, that causes irreversible damage to the air sacs in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe. While treatments can't reverse the damage, they can slow the progression of the disease and help individuals live more comfortably.

Do not speak ill of the dead:

Every civilized society upholds the principle of not speaking ill of the deceased. In Islam, this is an established Sunnah — to speak well of those who have passed and to refrain from negative speech.

It was narrated that 'Aishah (RA) said: "Something bad was said in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ about a person who had died. He said: 'Do not say anything but good about your dead."'
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1935

All human beings make mistakes and misjudgments in their lives — it is part of our nature. But once someone has departed from this world, our duty is to pray for them, speak well of them, and seek forgiveness on their behalf.

As the saying goes:

To err is human, to forgive divine

Of course, when someone commits grave injustice or heinous crimes, their actions must be addressed, and justice must prevail — especially for the sake of the victims. But for the vast majority of people, we show grace: we forgive, we let go, and we pray for their shortcomings to be overlooked by the Most Merciful.

May Allah Ta‘ala forgive our sister, overlook her shortcomings, and grant her the highest ranks in Jannah. Āmīn.
