Yeah .. but it was first inning, in second inning that’s criminal considering the situation and figured of other bowlers, even Faheem except for 3 deliveries was very good overall..

There is a reason why some of the associate nation trundlers here looked effective. The pitch made their bowling look more threatening. Same with Dube, Faheem. Both average seamers. But regular bowlers who bowled good lengths at normal pace were easier to go after. Even UAE played Bumrah with ease. Slow ball specailists are mighty effective here.

That is way it rolls. Last match against India Haris Rauf bowled well. But Saim and Abrar were taken apart. Today if Abhishek had survived the spinners would have faced different treatment.

So that means pace is useless no point playing them when you have spinners why would you even think of playing fast bowlers who are proving to be run machine why can't spinners bowl death overs bro any reason in these conditions?
 
At this point Rauf has too many scars to be bowling at the death. His spell should be completed by 17th over

Spinners not bowling is fine. Dube is a brutal spin hitter. With dew forming it would have been tough. What Pakistan failed to do was not reserving overs for Shaheen in the death. They needlessly bowled 3 overs of Shaheen upfront

Just one bowler going for runs is not going to lose match most of the times, but 9 wickets at 30 odd runs will make you lose matches often.

left right. Tilak would ahve finished in one over. Make no mistkae . So can Dube. They are generally brutal against spin. Pakistan overused seamers upfront .

I think bowling changes were totally fine by Agha. He needed wickets upfront and had Shaheen bowl 3 overs. Shaheen was ripping the ball at 145k today. Both spinners bowled well. Indians took all their chances and Pakistanis let a couple down including that crucial run out chance. Any other captain would have chosen the same bowling order as Agha did today. Their main problem was Tilak and Dube being lefties, both with an ability to score sixers on the leg side. So Nawaz was out of the picture. Agha had no choices left.
 
This guy thought he could hide his inadequacies by making a reel on the boundary soon after he'd been smashed by the Indian openers. That's how shameless he is. And it worked for a few days. Lesson for Pakistani fans - don't fall into the traps of some of these guys. They fail and generate social media content to keep themselves relevant. Surya has gotten a lot of hate too and he deserves it - if you're not doing your first job as a cricketer, trying other stunts only makes you look like a clown.

His aggression has been directed primarily against B teams and other lesser-known batters. Bottled more matches than ever won. Wasim jr should've been a better choice with bat/bow and probably best fielder in Pak.


For the WC we need a big overhaul and Rauf needs to be kicked out.

Saw Wasim Jr in the dugout today and was wondering what happened to him. Remember him from some game maybe vs India and he certainly had something about him worth persisting with.
 
It was zero or hero day for him today.

The only bowler Pakistan has produced in the last couple decades with the stuff to go hero-mode after pulling Rauf-type shenanigans is unfortunately, Amir.

Honestly on that pitch Haris is the best bowler to target. IT was a calculated move by India against Haris Rauf. Compared to Bumrah, Dube looked better. IT was one of those kind of pitch.

Should have saved faheem 2 overs in the end and should have one more saim over in middle and give haris only 19th over..........or use Hussain talat in the middle for couple of overs...

Salman agha should have use his brain and bowled saim instead of him in middle or save faheem 1 more ocer for end.........he was hard to hit.....

Probably his trundling might have worked. This is what happens when you go with too many half-baked all-rounders. Your thinking gets muddled. It is all fine and dandy to have bowling depth and batting depth. But if you are not smart enough to figure out who should bowl when, you might as well go with specialists. Too many bits and pieces players in your side.
 
This guy is a clown from a very long time. I have zero sympathy for Pak fans who support him. Always struggles under pressure, runs away from any competitive situation and looks utterly useless for the captain as he cannot be trusted.

And to top this we have clown captain who retained his overs instead of Shaheen.

No - I think the team was fine. Faheem did the trick so Talat's over or two would have been gold when we had tobowl out Rauf.

Putting spinners off around 16th over was wrong call.

UAE pitches are not suitable for fast bowlers. Even Bumrah got spanked whenever he tried to bowl short. Ball sits up nicely for the batsmen to execute a monstrous pull shot. This is wheee all fast bowlers suffered.

Disappointing stuff from Haris Rauf was his inability to deliver in the crunch situations. He could not execute Yorkers and bowled full tosses. When he tried to compensate for the full length balls by bowling short, he got pulled or swivel pulled for big sixes. Rauf could not redeem himself at the death. Arshdeep and Harshit Rana were in similar situation against Srilanka and they bowled beautifully at the death and in super over to give India an improbable victory.

Rauf has bottled once again and he has to live with that.

This Guy could nt Defend 12 Runs off 3 Balls against USA. Brainless Indeed. Against BD he had 22 to defend and it camd down to 12 off 2.. lol this dude bowled a full toss which Rishad could nt connect

He is the only Pakistani player with guts to show that 6-0 sign and bring out the aggression on the field. Rest all fell like meek spectators. I'd have him in the team on any day. He the junoon™ and jajba™ to represent Pakistan on international level.

Rauf has never been good in his career. He's only been good in Aus but the issue is Australia has always been a strange team post classic Aus era.

After classic aus era they are just okayish in Bi laterals but are a certified Odi WC team.

At the time many were blaming Aamir but I'd said it then and will say it again - Babar and Rauf were the biggest culprits.

It should have never gone to the Super Over.

Those last 3 balls were beyond garbage bowling

Any delivery besides the one he bowled would have forced the batter to execute a good shot.

This is what this moron never understands, make the batsmen play a good shot himself rather than bowl rubbish where the batter doesn’t even need to think much and punish you.

He just lacks basic game awareness, that’s all. Cannot be taught, when under pressure will always be found wanting.
