Rauf is going to cost Pakistan another big game which will prove to be costly in the T20 WC. It is just stickied on his forehead and the Pakistani selectors will keep sticking to him. Such are our standards

You are right about SL.
I don't think Rauf would be effective in SL. He is more suited to bouncy pitches (Australian and South African pitches).

Haris Rauf should only be used in middle overs, let him bowl 4 on the trot.

On SL's sluggish pitches, he may not be effective.
On those pitches, slow bowlers are more effective.
I’m getting scared because of his stats in BBL someone will make the absolutely horrendous decision of including him in the World T20 squad — when both are absolutely unrelated to each other and it’s proven he will get mauled in the tournament specially on Asian pitches or good batting tracks.

The way he holds the ball as he runs in is similar to Bumrah. There the similarity ends!
