yeah we had world class players in the team then...like Asad Tendulker, Younis Clarke, Ahmed Warner, Alex Hafeez...

He was only dropped because he could not stay at the crease like technique Asad, experienced YK. He defied Misbah ul haq's basic beliefs about Cricket. He came as someone who could play completely different brand of cricket than we used to see.

The more Sharjeel stayed in the team the more it would have pushed for players like Misbah,Hafeez,Asad,Ahmed to change their style of play..which they were never comfortable with..They all wanted to play 90s brand of ODI cricket.

Of course I have said Misbah doesn't develop youngsters well. I don't flip flop like some. I am a Misbah fan but I can see his faults.

Sarfraz is also picking a lot of his friends. Asad Shafiq, Zulfiqar, anwar ali, all have places in Quetta squad.

Misbah is guilty but the same applies to other Pakistani captains.

Excellent... MISBAH has constantly been poor when it comes constant dropping of youngsters every series and constant backing of seniors and juniors who play his style/brand of cricket... he thrashed maqsood, sohail was lucky with hafeez being banned for bowling which got him the time to establish as a player
