What's new

Has Lahore overtaken Colombo and Islamabad as the cleanest city in South Asia?

Yeah that's all cool but if we want, we can drive on desolated roads at 1 AM, Karachittes can't do that even if they want to. :hafeez2 You don't have a choice. :broad:shh

Lol that is certainly not true

Karachis 1am traffic is more than Islamabad's 1pm traffic. No joke

Colombo's instagram photos are much better than Lahore's. Maybe Bangalore can compete with Colombo. I don't see Lahore competing with Kochi,Bangalore or Colombo.

No international standard hospital in Lahore other than Imran Khan's Shaukat Memorial. For some very complicated cases people try to go to India or England. India is miles ahead in medical treatment, that's what matter. And, I'm from Lahore.

Its probably local road contractors,I found the best roads in Ahemdabad Gujarat, the city in terms of logical infrastructure was ahead of all metros I ve been to.

Totally agree with you. Ahmedabad have to be the best and cleanest city of India. Baroda expressway reminds me of driving on American/Canadian highways. I havent visited Gujarat for almost 10 years, so i can only imagine how much far ahead they might be compared to Mumbai.

Wouldnt cities like Chandigarh, Bangalore be cleaner though?

Yes, the likes of Hyderabad, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Thiruvanathapuram and the other smaller cities too. It is the big 4 of India that are the dirtiest.

Mumbai and Pune both are equally dirty, there isn't anything that differentiate one or the other, except Mumbai is perhaps 3-4x bigger than Pune.

If you want to know what clean a city should look like, visit Gujarat (Ahemdabad and Ghandinagar to be precise) and compared with Pune. Dont think there is any city in whole of Maharashtra that should be considered clean and this is coming from Mumbaikar.
