@Buffet @kron, When I think of top 10 test bowlers of all time( fast bowlers), one gaping hole is acceptable but not two.
Marshall, McGrath, Hadlee, Ambrose, IK, Steyn, Wasim, Donald - 8 names that I don’t think have more than one hole ( mostly failure vs one opponent) in their careers.
Bumrah, Lillee and Rabada each have two. Lillee failed in Pakistan and remained unproven in subcontinent. Rabada failed in India and Pakistan both. His average is also around 30 in New Zealand. Cummins has failed in Sri Lanka and unproven in India. He had a poor Ashes in 2023 tour to England where he averaged 37 with bowl.
So, I would reckon those top 8 stay as they are and behind them you have Bumrah, Cummins, Rabada, Lillee, Garner and Holding in same tier. That’s a top 9-15 level test bowlers. That would be my standing given they have multiple loopholes.
