A lot went right for Pakistan in 2018 but then a lot didnt go as well as expected in terms of financial situation.

Seems that Terror related incidents were down but the threat remains.

Can we expect more improvements in 2019? Or will we continue to live on the edge in 2019?

Nothing is going to happen. Things are only going to go down under the new regime.

They cannot even make a single metro bus in Peshawar without making a complete mockery of themselves. What hope do they have of running the country?

Apart from their inability to get anything done, the are running the economy into the ground. Prices of commodities are going up, their is shortage of gas and there are uneccessary polices and laws that serve no purpose other than showbaazi. However, this what the people deserve for putting their faith in an inexperienced, incompetent and hypocritical party in spite of their flop show in KP.

I see you ran after your lies were exposed a couple of days ago.The economy is in trouble because your friends have borrowed billions and stolen most of it. Care to come to that thread and carry on with that debate.

Anyway, ghabrana nahi hai because hamara PM bohat handsome hai.

Says the guy who voted twice for PTI. You yourself put your "faith in an inexperienced, incompetent and hypocritical party in spite of their flop show in KP. "

Very hopeful though I mistakenly voted " nothing will change".

For me success would be genuine accountability of everyone that has looted and the start of recovery if assets like with Qabza land . A proper thought out energy plan, and vigorous drive to up education.

2019 will be way better after the hardships the government faced immediately after taking charge.

Prace has greatly returned to Pak. It is the other issues that need sorting out. I don't expect for there to be any miracles in 2019 however any progress will be welcome. Most important is that Nawaz and Zardari return the looted wealth to the country.

Probably one of the most hope-filled times in our history!

Fact is Imran was Able to achieve zilch during his party’s government in KP. He was more interested in dharnas and toppling the government. If he had assessed the provinces issues and attempted to fix them he would have atleast have had a measure of how to run the country. The country has gone backwards ever since he came to power.

His party won a 2/3 majority, and became the 1st party o retain the govt in KP- Just imagine what would happened if had done actually done something lol.

Very hopeful.

Our family's been 'investing' some serious Euros in Pakistan since last few years.

In 2019, Insha'Allah, we'll keep on :D

Very hopeful. Things are changing and results will show better in coming years IA

We need Nawaz back as he is the only able and competent leader in our country. The rest can only talk.

Sab Army ki conspiracy hai.

The Pak army went home to home in KP and forced people to vote for Imran Khan :)))

Some people are so deep in their delusional bubble...

Maybe then you can explain the money trail, the rise in debt of $37bn, kids on the run, his Finance Minister on the run( sounds like some cross country racers), daughter providing fake documents and i could go on for another 2 pages.
BTW
Here is an interesting fact for you- in his last term which lasted 4 years, the duffer spent one year out of the four outside PK. Why?

Totally agree, but only if he is allowed to work without the institutions actively working to derail his government.

PTI is a cult. It is beyond accountability.

So now you want to guy that destroyed the country by stealing billions. What happened to your affections for Billo. That didn't last long, the JIT REPORT didn't have anything to do with the change of mind? One day I will see a post from you that is not a lie or backs some crook.

PTI has been held accountable, but unlike Noon League its leader wasn't caught with billions.

Says a guy who runs when challenged about his lies.

The only person running is our PM. Why doesn’t he clear his name in the foreign funding case? Why not set a precedence and come clean? What is he afraid of?

I don’t have any loyalty to any party; whatever I have said is for the betterment of the country. I believe in democracy and I am against any party or institution that threatens to derail it.

Your loyalty is to who ever steals the most. You may not Remember the hours you spent defending the crook Nawaz, well guess what we do, Remember when you spent hours telling us what a great leader Maryam would make, well we do, Remember when you got excited about Showbiz, well we do, Remember when you spent hours defending Billo and telling us that he is not responsible for his father's thefts, well we do. So the underlying theme of all your posts is that they maybe part of dynasty ( you did say you believed in democracy) and they have to be either in prison, or about to go to prison.

Looking at his track record of supporting crooks and thugs he is more likely to defend them if they were dynastic and crooked. So the message to IK, bring your kids into the PTI and start stealing billions to bankrupt a poor country and your reward would be the support of Mamoon

Dude you cant day in day out support or make excuses for politicians and parties which have robbed the nation blindly, taking it to near bankruptcy. Let's not even metion how Sharif was close to Modi, arguably he was a traitor while India was waging a proxy war. You then are more of an Indian supporter than Bal Thackery and then on the other hand claim you want the betterment of Pakistan? :)) Give it up now, it's embarrasing.

This guy changes his supports more times a football gloryhunter. He has literally said bluntly first ''Maryam is the last hope'' then his open support for Bilawal. How can he then say with a straight face I haven't supported anybody.

He has the reverse of the Midas touch( I love to use the colloquial term, but I would be banned if I used it), which ever crook he touches, goes to prison.

Hearing good things already from all corners.

Things are getting better.

Gonna be visiting next summer iA to see it all first hand.

Yes, exactly. Nawaz’s government was actually making progress in the country up until that whole panama leaks fiasco. That’s when his governments action became diverted and the country became chaotic. Had he been allowed to serve until the elections we would have made a lot of progress.

Nawaz will never return at least not within the next decade. By then he will be an old and feeble man disinterested in politics. His supporters have to accept his time is over. I am baffled to read how some people still seem to insist that he is innocent despite him being well exposed and unable to tell the court and people how he became a billionaire!. Zardari is next in line for ruthless accountability, insha Alllah.

Spot on.

It’s the truth brother. But as a Pakistani and with the new year here. We should accept that Imran is now in power, and be optimistic that he can improve the state of our country.

IK can never be worse than the corrupt thugs that left the country bankrupt and spent the money on holidays and property abroad. You keep telling us how good NS is, so tell us why we haven't seen the money trail?

who are 'we'?

Most of his supporters and who voted for his party accepted that fact when the election results were finalized.

It is Noora's supporters who need to accept this fact that NS will never become a PM and IK is PM of Pakistan.
