What's new

How many international wickets will Hasan Ali end up with?

He's not waqar and wasim category bowler, but he's batter than sami.

May be 120 test wickets 200 odi and 100 T20. You can do match yourself.

He'll get to around a 150 before he passes through a patch of bad form, gets dropped to be never picked again.

As usual people hyping up youngsters only for them to turn their backs on them when their form drops.

Winning creates the hype. Especially in a global tournament like CT.

Hassan Ali is talented. To me he is an Abdul Razzaq type bowler. He will have the same success as Razzaq with the ball. Of course Razzaq was a much better batsman than Hasan Ali.

This can't be predicted. His eventual career will need to be played out

too early to say! not really a good thread considering its still early days for him in his cricketing career.

There is literally zero similarity ither then the fact both are right arm fast bowlers

To early to say anything understanding selection and how quickly you can turn hero to zero in Pakistan.

I would say around 90.

He is very strict with his fitness. I see the determination in him but you never know with Pakistan cricket.

With his talent and commitment, he can easily reach 300 ODI wickets.

Too early to say as anything can happen in Pakistan, but I hope he at least gets 400-500 wickets.

700+ for tests alone

If he takes 150 wickets in test cricket, it will be a big achievement for his standards.

I have 30 plus years cricket watching experience.

He's more odi bowler where he can get 300 wickets..

Again, I have 30 plus years cricket watching experience. Traveled to all countries to watch Pakistan's matches in late 90s. After that, when I found out every matched is fixed, so I stopped wasting my money for cricket.

If he remains strict with his cricketing routine then he should end up with 300+ ODI wickets, typical for an evergreen fast bowler like him.

Unfortunately, you haven't learned a thing in 30 years.

We need to get ourselves out of this mentality. People are giving too much heed to personal achievements. I like how australia plays, they never bother about how many wickets do their players have & how much runs their players have, they only select the best and thats the reason why they were at the top of food chain of cricket for 2 decades.

What if he really does gets 600 wickets in odi and breaks world record, then what. It wont be any good if Pakistan remains in 6-7 in ranking. And then after few years his record will be broken up by some other players then no body will ever remember him of holding world record. But people will remember our world cup victories. Thats what we need to aim at.

What are you doing here even after learning every match is fixed

We abuse Afridi for his mediocre career but we cannot forget his first ever fastest century. So by your logic the argument is failed.

ODI: 200+
Test: 200+
T20: 70-80 ( I see him leaving T20's to focus more on the other two formats later down the road )
