How many of the PJL players been picked in the PSL?

I was surprised to see not a single franchise expressed any interest in picking Basit Ali who was the stand out batsman from the PJL.
 
shahvaiz irfan, the keeper bat, who looked like he had a higher ceiling, and pak franchises tend to be desperate for wicket keeper batsman.

also aimal khan the seam bowler.
 
I think players need to fit in to a team’s requirement. Lahore needed a WK and Shahwaiz fitted in to their requirement. I couldn’t see any team needing an opener before the beginning of emerging players round. So unfortunately Basit wasn’t picked.
PSL just needs a few more teams. Six teams are really not enough, especially if you want to base your national teams selection on PSL performance.

Whilst I agree he played well in PJL he had a power under u19s series straight after.

Openers are the least in demand position in T20's at this point considering how overloaded the position is nowadays and a lot of the good batsmen we saw in PJL were openers.

Middle order batsmen from PJL were picked and a pacer.
