Hey guys I think Anything over 140 will be tough on this pitch!

What are your thoughts?

150+ and expect Pakistan to shut up shop play for the draw and end up with a collapse handing West Indies a win.

Being up 1-0, I don't think we will chase anything over 250 on the 5th day wicket !!! That is natural .... why give WI any hope of squaring the Series ??? On the other hand, if we get them all out for 250-275 and have 4 sessions left .... we have great chance of nailing the Test Series!!!

we'll have to bowl really bad to get a target of over 200 tomorrow.

Anything under 200 and we'll easily win, but if they give us a target of 250+ then it would get tricky, we can chase it though, it's not like we're completely noob at chasing in tests.

It takes this team a whole day to each 230 runs... give them 250 to chase and expect them to close down the shutters and defend the whole remaining time to stumps.

guys i think your over estimating pakistans batting, this pitch aint going to get any better.
anything over 140 will be a real test. If west indies set 200 were going to lose!

110-120 at best !! Anything above this and we will collapse for sure

I'm hoping we don't have to chase over a hundred.

Even a target of 150 will be challenging on a crumbling/breaking wicket.

Don't want to be chasing more than 170/180. Although I think West Indies bowlers could be a little tired after the amount of overs they bowled in the 1st innings.

150 with Chase and Bishoo, Holder seeming it around, Gabriel with his pace... will be extremely tough.

Agree with people sayin 120-150. This is getting much harder to bat on.

Pak's best hope is Amir and Abbas bowing in tandem, 5 overs each and hopefully a wicket each in the first session with Shah hopefully picking up some before lunch as well. Shadab seems a bit out of his depth which is understandable so only give him some short spells, 3-4 overs and rotate the pacers. I know that puts a lot of work on the faster men but with only 2 pace bowlers, what can you do?

My limit is 135. Anything more and the game is in the balance.
That means we need to get them all out by tea.
Huge morning session coming up

Anything above 180 is a hard target ANYWHERE for ANY team.

That said, YK is due a big one and hopefully we'll be able to wrap it up, no matter what WIndians set for us

West Indies have the lead... eight wickets to go.

Looks like a tough fourth innings chase coming up.

Don't want to chase more than 180.

Remember Guyana in 2011 ? Lost by 40 runs chasing 219.

We will not win this match. We don't have test bowlers baring Yasir

Then who are these guys(?):

Amir this series: 76.0-23-156-11 (avg 14.2, econ 2.05)
Abbas this series: 71.0-17-183-8 (avg 22.9, econ 2.57)

:danish

Not looking so good for us at the moment, need a few quick wickets. Match slipping :danish

Match looks like it's gone. Windies well on track to post 250+, a draw would be a good result now.

Cannot really see them chasing more than 150. WI are now favourites to win, especially given Pakistan's propensity to lose 10 wickets in one session.

Pakistan will win this by 7 wickets. Master Younis and apprentice Babar to take us close. Mister Misbah to finish off with a six. You read it first here.

Can't see them chasing anything over 200. When Pakistan are expected to win, they usually crumble when put under pressure. The 374 chase, the Brisbane chase, the Lord's match and the final test in England - they were underdogs in all those situations. Not here.

Well then, hopefully WI will set us a target of 400.

We'll then be underdogs and chase it down.

Win is out of the equation for pakistan now.
Game is in West Indies grasp.

Day 5 pitch Pakistan chasing 200+ either shutters will come down and they will collapse or they will just collapse trying to chase. Either way West Indies are strong contenders to level the series.

Good old fashioned Pakistani lolapse would be delicious!

You guys would most likely chase 210-220.Dont except much from other batsmen.

Pakistan can chase that but they can also collapse. Such an unpredictable side.

250 is the absolute maximum.

Anything beyond that, and we won't even have the time to do it.

Right. I think the draw has gone now.
195 chase in 83 overs. Need a good start otherwise trouble

For me, I think Pak can chase upto 200 or maybe even slightly more that that, IF they bat quick enough.

I think scoring 200 odd runs in just under a day will be the major challenge for Pakistan.

The pitch isn't the easiest to bat on, but it is a very UAE-ish pitch, however, if our batsmen get into a position where they are trying to play for a draw and get overly defensive, I think we may be in trouble.

Usually Pakistan crumbles chasing anything over 150. But let's see as this wicket has been pretty decent for batting.

As usual they will rely a lot on their seniors. Hopefully Younus can improve his average this time.

For some odd reason, pitch is currently not playing as badly as it looked on day 3; one of the commentators said he cannot see it getting any worse and the other one said he is raising the easy traget for Pakistan to over 200 seeing how easily Chase and Hope were batting!

Yes, our team is quite amazing, one way or the other, barring any really terrible start to the innings, I am expecting a 5 wicket win as long as we can get the last wicket early tomorrow for not too many extra runs

Anything 200+ would significantly drop Pakistan's chances, while 250+ is a no go for this team.

I thought of collapse but didn't knew it will be such that they are now struggling for 200 let alone 210-220.

Azhar is the most priced wicket tomorrow. If he sticks around, Pakistan is going to win it.

If Shehzad and Azhar get through the first 15 overs I would love to see Saifi promoted to number 3. Even if he gets out we have a lot of batting to come or else the match is finished in 40 overs.

Yes pitch was decent today.

Just don't gift wickets and we should win.

I am sensing a major upset on day 5.......

When was the last time we chased anything noteworthy successfully outside Asia ??

Basically, when Misbah and Younis get out; we are doomed. Otherwise, no problem :akhtar

It seems like Pakistan will be set a target of under 200 runs.

They should be able to get those runs easily

Right now we'd do well do cross 100. WI have bowled accurately, and we are struggling to buy a run.

For a team consisting of superior specialist batsman set for test cricket they really forgot how to hold the bat on the last day.

I keep saying this again and again and again. Defensive play results in a collapse. I rather they go for it and lose trying to chase but even with this 188 chase they have made it look like a 300 target. All the batsman have failed not even a single one of them has stood out.

Bearing in mind as a professional cricketer you have to play in all conditions. Its a cricket pitch good one or bad atleast play like a batsman. Absolutely clueless to think this team was no.1 few months ago!
