What's new

How many wickets will Wahab Riaz take before he retires?

Safe to say he's been a massive underachiever. Pace, built, fitness - has got the three basic ingredients to be a successful pacer. Could have achieved so much more

Will most likely end up with stats similar to that of Umar Gul with lesser no of Test wickets. 125-130 Test wickets @32-33 and 175 ODI wickets @ 29-30.

I really don't understand why he wasn't a permanent member of the team after the 2011 WC.

Currently Wahab got around 150 wickets in all format combined so if he can play regularly for next 3 years i will give him 150-160 more wickets and he will endup with 300+ wickets in all format combined thats still 130-140 wickets less than what Shoaib AKhtar achieved in his career with many many issues including injuries, bans, drops etc (of course Akhtar was light years ahead of Wahab so i am no comparing them just mentioning the numbers)

still how many odi wickets he can get

He isn't even half decent bowler anymore

Huge disappointment and a huge liability,Maybe if needed I would give him another crack in test matches but keep him far away from limited overs cricket

Abbas, Amir, Hassan, Junaid are established and with new pacers and fast bowling all rounders coming up.

And Wahab is on the wrong side of 30 and no where near 100%

I think he'll play again, but I don't expect him to last very long. He'll be joining Guldozer as a domestic force pretty soon

Id gives him no more than 20 more international wickets

End his test career with just 80 odd wickets
And highly unlikely if he ll ever reach 150 odi wickets
Disappointment
