I would like people here to suggest how to overcome Motion sickness on long haul flights.
Any kind of remedy that has worked for them or anyone they know can be shared.

Thanks.

Does it happen only on long haul flights or do you suffer motion sickness on terrestrial journeys as well?

If it happens only on long haul flights it's probably jet lag, and not motion sickness.

For me I get super scared whenever there is the sensation of free fall. I don't have issues when the vehicle I am sitting in makes sharp turns or has a bumpy ride.

Free fall sensation is my worst enemy. I simply cannot go on any rides in recreational parks.

If I travel on air it is more, in cars or bus or trains usually journey is less duration so does not matter.

Try to close down your eyes maybe. Think about India's 36-all out or 46-all out. In other words, try to distract yourself with positive things from the past.

Antihistanine or anticholonergics should work. You can get them over the counter.

Their is no other way if you understand physiology of motion sickness.

I'm assuming you get motion sickness on airplane descent and landing.

We won the 36 all out series why would he think about that?
Binny binning bangla kittens is way more amusing.

I can’t read books on plane or anything in motion, I hate sitting in backseat in a car.
Motion sickness is unfortunate condition esp in this traveling required world but I remember there used to be these candies in Jammu when riding the van.

Throughout , Because of that , I have headache.

I am not a doctor so don’t take this as medical advice but I had a similar situation a few years back, when I had vertigo/motion sickness out of nowhere. It was really debilitating. Got all checks up, no one could diagnose. Then a veteran family doctor advised me of better gut health. Avoid gastric issues by eating on time, a limited quantity and primarily healthy food. Not sure if that was the reason but a little bit of stretching/yoga and a good diet took care of it for me and went away after a while. As I said DYOR and get medical advice but a healthy lifestyle can definitely help.

Your case was individual one , I have this issue always.

Its motion sickness, only way to prevent is medication. No desi or any other remedies will work.

Try scopolamine patches.
Prochlorperazine (5mg), Betahistine (24mg), Domeperidone (10mg), Meclizine (50mg). 1 tablet of either of these can be used if available otc. Otherwise you'll need your doctor to prescribe an antiemetic.

This.

1 more aspect which no one has yet mentioned is.... Check your ears. The vestibular system helps to maintain balance and any disruption, anomaly will tend to make you feel sick.

So OP should check the inner ear along with sinuses for any obstruction since in case of OP it is a regular occurrence.

In pakistan, yes! If you live in US, then you might be able to find benadryl or doxylamine over the counter which will help as well. The downside is they will make you sleepy.

yes but promethazine has recently been put in controlled drug list in Pakistan due to its association with people using it alongside opiods.
