I'd have Amir in the squad just for his economy. There are going to be more matches where you'll have to contain than to take wickets, like yesterday. Amir will be the key difference in these matches. I've seen Junaid, Shinwari, Faheem etc tonked around for fun never with Amir.

On 3rd ODI, Hafeez should replace Haris Sohail due to the irresponsibility he showed. I am a fan of Haris but Hafeez is better.

Asif Ali should keep his place. He need to prove more. Just 1 fifty shall not guarantee WC spot.

Amir can easily replace Faheem Ashraf but I would rather go for Junaid. I dont see Faheem Ashraf in WC.

You can try all of them, can't see any of them providing much. Junaid has also lost some speed like Amir, and Hasnain doesn't look ready yet, he is only bowling straight up and down deliveries maybe to keep his line.

Understand the frustration as he is not an allrounder in ODIs but we were made to believe he is, As a pure bowler he is not world class but still a better bowler than Amir...but on merit he also doesn't make the squad I would rather prefer to have a quality spinner like Kashif bhatti in place of him and he can bat better than faheem too

Why they want Amir in the team then who's supposted to be a strike bowler but has only 5 wickets in last 17 ODIs? They say atleast Amir is economical, Faheem's career economy rate is much better than Amir's. then ? what do people want I don't understand. If the rumours of Amir lacking confidence and losing most of his pace is true then I'll agree with you.

But Faheem Vs Amir is no comparison at all.

One is a world class bowler and the other is a bits and pieces mediocre psuedo all rounder.

Hopefully Amir is playing the next 3 matches to show us what he has left.

If he performs awfully then drop him.

Kind of feel bad for Rumman Raees, totally out of contention once he got his knee injury.

He has ruined his swing with his obsession of constantly going across the right hander(defensive T20 bowling, no doubt advocated by mr. mehmood & encouraged by the cheerleader-with-gloves sarfaraz). Now that he has lost his pace too, his bowling average reads 92.00.

Mohammad Amir needs to go back to his roots which made him as lethal as Akram - the in-swing. He needs to understand his height is diminutive, he is no Mitchell Johnson who could sustain his pace at 145+ constantly.

Including Amir is pretty easy and his importance was further signified in the 2nd ODI. He should replace Faheem, infact he should have done that on April 18 if it wasn't for the blind selectors insisting with a useless PSL only player.

For Asif Ali, it will be a tough call and one of the two not so automatic openers will have to make way (Imam and Abid). We already have plenty of makeshift openers and don't need to overburden it, rather it's best we fill the power hitting gap.

All of Babar, Haris, M Hafeez, Sarfraz can become openers in case of something out of the extraordinary happens and that too has a very low realistic chance.

Imam won't be dropped and hence, it will be the 2 matches old rookie Abid to be replaced with Asif.
