So India has now boycotted both the games against Pakistan in legends cricket. They even accepted the knockout from the tournament than engaging with them.

There are lots of debates going on Indian parliament and media regarding playing Pakistan even in ACC/ICC events. Opposition parties are grilling present BJP govt for it.

We all know BCCI significantly contribute to ICCs finances. Both ICC and Asian council depends a lot on Ind v Pak game. This money is then used to sustain non big 3 boards. So much so that even Ramiz Raja accepted BCCI indirectly funds Pakistan cricket.

India already does not play bilateral cricket with Pakistan. Now if they adopt this policy of not playing them even in multinational tournament, how will it impact world cricket and specifically Pakistan cricket?

Will we see less multi nation international events going forward?

Will boards rely more on franchise cricket to make money?

Some debate around is crucial.

World Cricket will not care, they will suck up to India and BCCI as they generate all the finances in Cricket. Pakistan will be further isolated.

Associate members will struggle to survive as well unless ofcourse India is touring them a lot.

I have a feeling, we will see less ICC events going forward and probably go back to one in 4 year event like in the past.

This can be a good thing as well as boards will organize more tri series and more test matches like in the past.

Indians will be trolled even more on PP.
No people like you and ...... will be humiliated more who said BCCI is never ever going to boycott ICC/ ACC event's match with Pakistan .

Pakistan needs to build friendly relationships with other boards.

As far as the boycott. I enjoy seeing the Indians crying. If they forfeit points its the icing on the cake.

I think ICC minow nations might now want to annoy India and get them to boycott points against them too :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Pakistan already has a good relationship with other boards. That is not a concern.

Issue is India Pakistan game is a money maker for ICC. That is the only reason, there is an ICC event every year. That is the reason, intentionally India and Pakistan is always put in same group. That is the reason even opening ceremony and reserved days are only for this game.

So if India now decide to not play with Pakistan, how will it impact finances of ICC and how will overall global cricket will be impacted.

This is a valid question but trolls who are having a tough day today are trying to deviate from the topic.

I mean to alleviate Pakistans potential isolation we need to cultivate good relations with boards and drop this habit of removing NOC at last minute and similar things.

As far as ICC finances it's not an issue for Pakistanis anymore. ICC could have taken a tough stand and it actually would have benefited BCCI as they could say to the public that due to ICC rules we have to play Pakistan and you would have a similar situation as you have with tennis and other sports.

However ICC bent over for the Indians and in return Indian found the only place on earth they could try to damage Pakistan, politically all other avenues have failed, cricket bat is all that was left and they let the power get to them.

India itself backed itself into this corner, so to be perfectly honest, whatever happens, we don't care.

PCb is totally dependent on ICC revenue.lol :kp

The step has been taken by BCCI not PCB.

What you want PCB to do? It's not in their hands.

As I said, we have to develop relations with other boards.
It's taken by BCCI but what is end result When ICC will not generate enough revenue without india so how will they paid to other boards. Paisa ni hoga to ICC kha se dega. Logic to use Karo kabhi

We can't control what India does and genuinely don't care about this boycott. The drama has went on for too long. First Mumbai then something else then something else. Then home is ok away is not but neutral maybe ok.

Time to move on. Take the step you guys want. Whatever happens happens.

I'm not sure what more commentary you want.

You exactly know what is my point but you don't want to accept it. Truth is always bitter. Nvm :kp

I am just expressing the default Pakistani position on this. Kar lo jo karna.

Not sure why you guys are now crying crocodile tears over world cricket and Pakistan revenues. I feel like some cold feet is creeping in.....

Badi badi bhongiya mar wa lo bus.

Read the statements of Ramiz Raja , you PCB is totally dependent on BCCI revenues. As per latest news your local broadcaster are already withdrawal from WI - Pakistan Team . no profit from PSL . Sponsors mil nahi rahe hai, Team Minnows Ban gyi hai already but ha badi badi dhenge jarur mar sakte hai . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It is what it is, we can't control what has happened already. It is the reality of the situation we are aware of it's no revelation or bombshell you are dropping. However despite you repeating this over and over again let me be clear we don't care about your boycott.

If the Indian legs are shaking before taking this step that's on you guys, don't expect us to whine and try talk you out of it.

Good that India are not playing Pakistan while Pakistan cricket is at it’s lowest. Bus ab yeh besharm koi achi team ready kar lay till India start playing us again.

INdia and Pakistan meet rarely anyway.

In the last 5 years

Pakistan has played 9 internationals against India across formats. That is one less than Pakistan vs Afghanistan. That is not much.

World, not so much - but will be annoyed (and is annoyed). Pakistan on the other hand will be affected heavily.

No one would really care, Indian media will portray it as a strong stand by government and andhbhakts like OP will be singing praises of government.

Pakistanis will either be crying or trolling

Rest of the world wouldn’t know or won’t care.

World cricket will go on as normal, ICC will lose some money and the income of boards will reduce a little bit due to it, but other than that business as usual.

I do think there is an appetite for fans of other countries to see India and Pakistan cricket. On recent Sky Sports podcasts, which have Ravi Shastri and Wasim Akram, the India-Pakistan match was a question asked by the panelists, and the MCG t20 went viral for its atmosphere amongst non cricket fans. It really is a big sporting spectacle.

But yes, nobody cares enough to challenge the Indians on their stance, and being quite honest, now Pakistanis have stopped caring too.
