Yes, the world cup should just be handed over to the 1st ranked team, rest of the teams can just be there to do some circus tricks for ***** and giggles.
You need to work hard for glory. It should belong to teams who work hard and prepare for the moment. Pakistan winning this World Cup and England falling short would have been pure injustice.
It is like a student who gets lucky with 50% preparation compared to another who has worked his backside off for months, revising the whole course multiple times.
I am so glad that God favored England in the final. It was the fruit of their work since the last World Cup.
They dropped as many as 9 players, including big names like Anderson and Broad, adopted an adventurous playing style and became the number 1 ranked team in the world.
God extended a helping hand in the final and told England that He is on their side because they deserve it.
Ravi Shastri said after the England vs India match that God was in England’s dressing room that day. He is right, but not just that day - He has been in their dressing room throughout the World Cup and he helped them in the final when they needed Him. If there was an atheist in the England dressing room, there isn’t one now.
This is a lesson for a team like Pakistan. Forget 92, cornered tigers and unpredictability nonsense. Stop being lazy and work hard with honesty and dedication for the 2023 World Cup.
Start preparing now and show the hunger and the desire that this England showed between the last World Cup and this one.
Pakistan is like Einstein.People like you will never understand.
Man I wish it would have happened to India for the lols
Kohli would have punched a couple of officials and stormed the ICC building and threatened not to leave until the WC was shared or the result was overturned.
) The best thing is it's not a stretch, he would have lost it lol and the drama after it would have been comedy gold.)
And I would have fully supported him.
Kohli would have single handedly taken on the ICC.
And we Indian fans would have destroyed ICC online.
Thankfully india were not in this final for many reasons, but if what happened to NZ had happened to india, i can envisage kohli getting arrested and possibly ending up in prison, after beating the living daylights out of the umpires and icc members and anyone who got in his way!!The best thing is it's not a stretch, he would have lost it lol and the drama after it would have been comedy gold.
Honestly felt like we were up against England and the gods.Thankfully india were not in this final for many reasons, but if what happened to NZ had happened to india, i can envisage kohli getting arrested and possibly ending up in prison, after beating the living daylights out of the umpires and icc members and anyone who got in his way!!
Hopefully that will be the case.Honestly felt like we were up against England and the gods.
How can the gods be so cruel to us? What did we do to deserve this... It's got to lead somewhere.. I just hope it inspires our next generation and leads them to winning 3 consecutive WCs to make up for this..
We literally lost a WC due to two of the dumbest rules in the sport.
How on earth is boundaries taken before wickets?
Regardless of the Boundary rule, NZ lost because of shocking umpiring at such a crucial point of the game.
It's been proven that only 5 runs should have been awarded instead of 6. The game would've been won by NZ before the Super-Over.
The ICC should launch an enquiry into the incompetence of the on-field and off-field umpires who collectively cost New Zealand the Cup.
Had it been India instead of NZ, I can assure you the match would be officially declared Null and Void.
