India or any other country is not obligated to improve Pakistan Cricket and distribute money to PCB freely.
May be some you should lobby your government to implement your suggestion to take a surcharge of 5 PKR per Pakistani citizen and put that money for grass roots improvement rather then paying millions to Mani/Wasim and co.

From what i understand from the legal perspective and laws of the ICC, FTP and bilateral tours are not legal bindings and depends on boards reciprocity towards each other. So, there is no legal obligation for India to fulfil the FTP.
If Pakistan feels that way and has a strong case, then time to go to the tribunal to enforce that.

PSL is not far off. Have some patience it will bring returns to Pakistan cricket as well.
You don't need India or IPL to succeed. You just need good administrators who put the money at grass roots. Plenty of interest and money in Pakistan cricket, as evident from the salary of Wasim Khan and Misbah.

Law of the land takes precedence over Bilateral series and FTP. Till the time, issues between India and Pakistan aren't resolved, there will not be any bilateral series nor will you see Pak players in the IPL.

There is no point blaming India for the unfortunate situation PCB is in. You sound bitter, very unlike you.

Misbah-Waqar simply have no clue about limited overs cricket. It showed in their previous stint which lasted half a decade before Mickey Arthur. This continued when they lost to Sri Lanka C team at home and now the English C team away. Misbah only knows one type of cricket - that is attritional test cricket in the dust bowls of UAE. He is a limited individual and we can start the repair of the team by booting him and waqar immediately.

If New Zealand can create a side that can humble India, with resources and a talent pool that is far far smaller than Pakistan's, then that is the template to follow. Maybe two or three of the Black cap regulars play IPL cricket. So not playing regular franchise cricket is not an impediment for them.

Wasim Khan should send a PCB team (incl. Ex players) to spend a year in the New Zealand domestic set up and find out what works for them and how they have created the worlds best cricket team, ie World Test champions and World cup finalists.

The PCB are more invested in making people like Babar, Shadab and Shaheen as captains rather than looking for well educated individuals to take leadership roles. Can you imagine a person with the IQ of Shaheen Afridi ever being a captain of England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India? Yet the PCB have started the program for him with all of the cat A central contract stuff and he is a VC of Lahore Qalandars.

Are you telling me that a soft, timid approach to batting is something that a coach cannot fix?

A coach can only do a few things but largely it's the player's responsibility to not play such rash shots. I'm not a fan of Misbah but we can't always go on a blame Misbah campaign every time the team doesn't do well. This was our best possible XI and we bottled it with rubbish shots.

All trolling aside, I agree with streety completely here. England have incredible depth and quality in white ball cricket and that's all there is to it.

Pakistan is a lot better ODI better side than what it was 6 years ago. South Africa are losing to Ireland of all teams and I'd say Pakistan are a better side than that.

Only England, Australia, NZ and India are better ODI teams imho. That's not too bad. No amount of chopping and changing will get you better for now. It's a slow process.
