Sorry but Hawk's bowling is unbelievably pathetic..Probably at par with Quetta..
Only Faisal saved their faces with the bat..

You are looking at 175 and saying that wo,they have improved a lot but in my opinion, their score could have been a lot lesser had dolphins bowler bowled with any motivation and purpose..They just operated like machines and sprayed it knowing that no matter how poorly they bowl, they will most definitely win it in the end.

So,not a high quality match but still way better than the Bears,Wolves one..

I disgaree :hamster:

This match was not a bowler's match. The dew was making it very difficult to not only bowl but also field. I say this match and not this day because, even though it was there in previous matches, the dew had gotten much worse at night. A lot of boundaries could have been stopped had the dew not made life difficult for the fielders.

Hyderabad batted well, exploiting the conditions. What was especially commendable was that even though they lost their best bat on the very first ball of their innings, coupled with the huge score Karachi had put up, they should have had their confidence crippled. It didn't happen. They showed great mental strength to not only bat all 20 overs, they took it very close to the target with 5 wickets in hand. That kind of attitude and mental strength, especially against a very strong side, is not a sign of a minnow. Not to mention, once Ghumman started introducing spinners, Karachi wickets started falling like flies.

With such a close match, there can be only two possibilities. Either Hyderabad are not minnows, or Karachi are. I would go for the former because the latter reflects poorly on our national team, what with Dolphins sporting quite a few of our national stars.

Nonetheless, their next performance would really show us what the Hawks are made of. I believe they have their second match tomorrow. :azeem
