Mr. Henry Kissinger has won the Peace Prize. That tells everything one needs to know.

So that kinda cuts out Modis chances of a Nobel peace prize

Geez, Immi! You can't put a foot wrong these days, can ya?

I am glad Immy hasn't lost touch with his trademark 90mph reverse swinging yorker. :shafiq2

Very honest from Imran Khan. Among all world leaders, only Modi ji deserves it. It is obvious.

IK has shown leadership but if he can somehow solve the Afghan Civil war and bring peace to the troubled land then he may be in with more than a shout. The Kashmir issue has to be solved mutually with Ind, but with the fascist as their head, we have little chance.

Had it been Vajpayee right now instead of Modi we might have gotten somewhere.

Very humble, and I'm pleasantly surprised he mentioned Kashmir

This whole Nobel Prize stunt is PR thing and I think that's what the intentions were right from beginning of this stunt. And that's why IK himself is discussing this in his tweet, More projection for PR Stunt. He is building a narrative of Pakistan-for-Peace. Now need to back it up with action against some nefarious organisations.

He was labelled "Naive" by his political opponents but he is proving to be very astute.

This guy is the BEST leader we have had since Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

I hope Allah grants him a long life, and strength to continue his struggle. If he rules for 10 years, Pakistan of 2028 would be miles better than Pakistan of 2018.

Ameen!!

How long till nooras come and derail this thread with their rhetoric?

Nobel peace prize has become a joke and it has been bestowed upon some of the most shadiest and unsavory characters in the past, some of whom have further been emboldened to carry out more atrocities after getting the award. Imran and Pakistan would be better off staying clear of this accursed badge of imperial servitude.

The man is handling things with a grace and composure we have not seen in a loooong time. I hope God gives him health and long life. If this is a pr stunt from the beginning then it proves that his Oxford education is worth every scent, because he is looking like a genius. I hope he is successful in his vision for #NayaPakistan

A few bad apples, but Imran Khan deserves all the praise and in my eyes he is already won this Noble Peace Prize

Imran Khan doesn't need any prize given by a handful of Norwegians. This award has become a poltical propaganda tool. Obama was given this when first elected but ended up authorising more drone strikes than Bush.

Imran will be given rewards by his people and more importantly by the Lord for his efforts of peace and improvements.

Ameen Ameen, Inshallah he will

Fixed

The challenge with this prize is that you’ll be psychologically bound to it rest of your life...

lot of quotes in this article goes against Pakistan's narrative:

After a Feb. 14 suicide attack arranged by a Pakistani terrorist group killed 44 Indian security forces in disputed Kashmir

It remains unclear how much Khan will further confront a military that has often used terrorist groups for strategic purposes.

If he can bring terrorist groups to heel, it will start to heal ties with India.

He deserves it so far for the peace initiative he has taken by releasing IAF pilot. A very genuine human being.

Imran Khan should reject the nomination and prize for not wanting to be mentioned in the name breath as many a War Criminals, Terrorists, and Colonial Stooges...

He's not a candidate yet but will definitely be in a few years. He needs to walk the talk of dismantling terror networks. He's definitely capable as he seems to have the public mandate.

Khan should turn it down anyway. Obama, Aung San, kissinger, its a list of genocidal mad people.
