In response to criticism about Quetta players not being seleced : "We at PCB do not decide which player is selected for which franchises, this is decided by them"
"This is easy to say but difficult to explain to the regions who say we have teams playing with our names and no regional players so why don't you change the rules?"
"I have suggested that from next year in the emerging players category, we will put in a clause that will force teams to pick a player from that region"
"I hope the franchises will support us in this decision"
