Why everytime Pakistan bowlers do fine job then knives are out against them. Looks like our balls decided to show off some magic tricks. Maybe next time they'll start levitating as well and vanish..

-----------------------------

Heinrich Klaasen speaking during the post-match presentation after losing 1st ODI against Pakistan:

“I’ve played here for 10-13 years. With rain last night and green outfield like this, I have never seen the ball reverse like that in 20 overs.”

“Balls are only 25 overs old in a one-day game, so in 20 overs, that ball was shaping like a four-day game in quite proper heat.”

“So, yeah, other than that, I’m not going to comment on anything.”

You don't accuse anyone of tampering with the ball with no evidence in the first place. Anyone who does so is an imbecile. This is not the 80's or the 90's anymore where players can get away with such things without being caught on cameras.

Anyways, I do remember a certain Inzamam Ul Haq accusing India of ball tampering during the ODI WC last year. I guess he is a retired player so he can make such accusations?

Told you moment pakistani bowlers do something it's something illegal.

Yet down under they have venerated bumrah as some idol, well we fully well know if he was pakistani his action would have been called and he would have been banned.

Maybe he can ask pakistan ex players like Inzy and Hasan khan who know more about how is reverse Swing happening.

:wa:kpl

Next time Klaasen is gonna say that ball size was small when Pakistan bowlers were bowling. You lost the series. Accept it and move on

Absolutely! The whole cricketing world is biased in favour of India, and against Pakistan. The only non biased and neutral cricketing people in the world are Pakistani cricket fans who believe Imran was a better cricketer than Sobers, Inzamam was a better batsman than Tendulkar and Qadir was a better spinner than Warne.

What an entitled crybaby.

Yesterday the ball was changed multiple times and it still kept on swinging. He is mad because the bowling was skillful.

Maybe this spin basher thinks he is better than he actually is.

Former Pakistan Cricketers admit to this openly and with pride, they see it as art. If cameras didnt capture anything, it didnt happen. Simple. :wy

South Africa batter fined for breaching ICC Code of Conduct

The wicket-keeper batter was penalised for kicking the stumps after being dismissed in the second ODI against Pakistan.
South Africa’s prolific batter Heinrich Klaasen has been fined 15% of his match fee for committing a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct.

One demerit point has also been added to his disciplinary record for violating Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match.”

The incident took place during the second ODI on Thursday, 19 December between South Africa and Pakistan. Klaasen was a standout performer with the bat for the hosts, scoring a valiant 97 off 74 balls as South Africa faced a challenging chase of 330.

Klaasen batted right till the end and was the last wicket to fall in the 43rd over but with little support at the other end, the Proteas fell 81 runs short.

A frustrated Klaasen kicked the stumps upon his dismissal, leading to sanctions by Match Referee Richie Richardson.

For Pakistan, Babar Azam and captain Mohammad Rizwan set the platform for a substantial total with half-centuries each. However, it was Kamran Ghulam’s explosive 32-ball 63 that provided the late surge, propelling the visitors to an imposing score.

Pakistan secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, with the final ODI set to be played in Johannesburg on Sunday, 22 December.

No smoke without fire. A player like Klassen will not say things for the sake of it. He definitely noticed something fishy and pointed it out. Good on him.

Aqib Javed is the coach of Pakistan right? So won't be surprised if he passed on the tampering skills to his players like he himself used to do back in his playing days.

It's human nature to find excuses for failure although sometimes they are spot on instead of bluffing.

Rizwan breaks the stumps for no reason every time the batsmen are miles in. Why does he not get any demerit points?

Would he ever behave like this against India and endanger his IPL contract? I think not. Money and economic might buys respect
Which IPL franchise would pass up the chance to sign Klaasen if he said something like this about them?

It’s Heinrich Klaasen, not Haseebullah Klaasen

They are spot on when its against India ans bluff when it’s against Pakistan.
Need to look into that...what wrong did SSA exactly do? It wasn't tampering may be was complaining about Pakistan players trampling with specific area of pitches

Shaheen didn’t do anything wrong, but had this been said about Bumrah we all know how Pak posters would had reacted.

Pakistani players complained to the umpires and match referees about Klassen, Millers and Jansen's non stop abusing. These guys instead of having a proper civilized conversation, were indulging in abusive profanities while talking to the Pakistani players. Rizwan told them team to give it back.

So why couldn’t Rabada reverse the ball being a far superior bowler to everyone in that match?
McGrath was a far superior bowler but couldn't reverse it as well as Rana.

It's as art born and perfected in Pakistan.

I recall a story about our players back in the day. When they were being abused by opposition in English and they didn't know how to reply they were told to just say "same to you".

i don't like swearing on a sports field, but the one thing Pakistanis are good at it is swearing. Our players should give it back rather than complain.

I saw a clip where Rizwan was indeed giving it back. Great to see.

Klaasen should say something like this when actual evidence is captured.

If evidence of actual tampering was clear cut like in the past many times, you are free to point it out. Bottle caps in 90s with blood on fingers, biting the ball in 00s, zipper and sandpaper in 2010s ... Otherwise meaningless to say something about tampering the ball.

Also, with all camera around, neutral umpires and umpires taking back the ball after each over , it's much harder to tamper with the ball too much. It's not free for all. We are not playing in older eras.

Pakistani fast bowling in ODI's suffered with the two new ball rule and the abscence of reverse swing. Reverse swing is essential to bring back the balance b/w bat and ball in ODI Cricket. International batsmen must be able to cope with reverse swing.

Shaheen got massive reverse swing yesterday in his 2nd spell as well.

To be fair, the ball had taken a bit of a beating, Shaheen’s pace was up & on top of that, his 2nd spell was very close to the new ball change, could be wrong but doesn’t seem to be utilised as much with an older ball in the past ? plus it’s SA / and the nature of wickets there to

I meant I was waiting for Klassen's comments on the ball reversing in 34th over.

Was wondering how he would see it now.

From my playing days in Pakistan, we are so used to playing with the rough old ball because at home it that swing in the air is all you count on to get batsmen out. I was 13 when my school coach told me to keep one side shiny, how to hold the ball, the wrist position and all to get the ball to swing. I don't know if it was reverse or conventional but it did swing when you did some things a certain way and some bowlers could do it and some could not. Its natural to some. I remember bowing hours and hours in my backyard with old balls to see what works. That stuff gets programmed into your muscle memory.

every thing happens for the first time in the life and facing such extraordinary pace bowling was something new for Klaasen.

Damn.

I used to have respect for Klaasen. He just lost all his class.

No wonder this loser choked from a winning position against India in the T20 World Cup.

Got no brain. Good luck choking in future tournaments and now we will enjoy it rather than feel sorry.

Maybe they have a patch of sandpaper sewn into the trouser. Somebody check their gear. :leo

daniel vettori and the rest criticized umar gul for taking 5/6 in a t20. Similar case here. Just cant digest the fact that it was unplayable.

No Pakistan thinks the above in regards to 3 players mentionef, stop being dramatic

Back your statement with evidence or jog on. Proper donut statement

Yeah you forgot rubbing dirt of ball or using boiled sweets method of tampering

Now that India also have good fast bowlers ICC should go back to only one ball in ODIs.

What a stupid rule knowing full well the importance of the ball in cricket. Its not like its football where the ball doesn't matter.

India won the 2011 WC and they brought in this rule.. Indian bowlers suffered due to this.
Sachin himself has criticised this rule multiple times, he is the biggest critique of it.
The bigger issue is the Kookaburra balls imo.

In football the ball matters as well, heck even in American football it matters
The size weight everything affects footballers, read up on it esp the Jabulani ones.

I mean as in the condition of the ball. It only matters in cricket.

What were the consequences of the so called ball tampering.

Only Indian bowler I've seen reverse the ball effectively is Shami
