"I will not block or have any intention not to comply with the decision (hybrid model)": Zaka Ashraf

Ok, so you are not going to stay on topic and go on a tangent that's not relevant to my point. All good.

There is no topic.

The rights of India Pakistan matches aren't sold separately. So there is no specific revenue only for that match.

Considering the fact that Pakistan isn't among the top 3 revenue generators, India Pakistan match revenues majorly comes from India.

This makes no sense. The Pakistani market not generating similar revenues does not mean that the Pakistan team do not in some way contribute to ICC’s ability to sell their tv rights.

Each time contributes, some may more than others, but the strength of local is not the same as the global market.

No one said Pakistan doesn't contribute. But its contribution isn't big.

90 per cent of the contribution is from the India market. Next are England and Australia.

So you can gauge how much Pakistan and the rest contribute.

Kamran Akmal:

"We must appreciate Najam Sethi for this. The acceptance of the hybrid model was because of his personal interest. If we talk about his team, those guys wanted the Asia Cup to be played in Dubai or Sri Lanka just because they could travel abroad and stay in five-star hotels."

"Najam Sethi also strived hard to convince Jay Shah and the ACC to go with the hybrid model. It wasn't an easy task. At one point in time, it seemed as if there would be no Asia Cup matches played in Pakistan. Every Pakistani wishes that matches should happen in Pakistan, as we are the hosts. It took a lot of convincing, and the board worked very hard for over six months to ensure this."

"Everyone from the media to ex-cricketers should talk about this"

"Zaka Ashraf is expected to be the next PCB chairman. He will get to know the problems in Pakistan cricket once he takes charge. He recently spoke about the hybrid model for the Asia Cup. I believe not just him but everyone from the media to ex-cricketers should talk about this."

Dude, let it be.

This is binary scenario: BCCI has the leverage to get what they want and are happy status quo.

PCB is not happy with status quo and are not wiling to use all options available to take this to its logical conclusion.

They just want to sit and complain instead of what @bewal_express has suggested.

It is worth mentioning that the Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played from August 31 to September 17 in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Four matches of the ODI tournament will take place in Pakistan, and nine games will be hosted in Sri Lanka.

Circus continues. At the end of the day, the Asia Cup will proceed with his hybrid model in any case, he can make all the big statements he likes.

D-day tomorrow - Let's see if he does get elected.

"I will not block or have any intention not to comply with the decision (hybrid model)": Zaka Ashraf

Zaka Ashraf while talking to media in Islamabad.

"I had already rejected hybrid model for the Asia Cup because I don’t agree with it. It is an injustice to Pakistan. It is not right to hold main matches outside Pakistan. Being the hosts, the complete event should take place at home,"
well Mr zaka ashraf you are chairman now and asia cup is about to take place. And Pakistan, the host, is not mentioned on the jersey of the teams.

What a joke of a tournament this is going to be. Every chairman talked big, and every single one of them bowed down.

Pathetic from BCCI that stoops to such levels. Meanwhile Asian Cricket Council is just a joke. They basically have 0 authority.

Yes, all talk and no action. But that is business as usual for the PCB chairmen.
