It's pointless as we already have Boult, Southee, Milne and Santner we don't need both Anderson and Neesham.

Lets hope the sun flattens the pitch out some more. I reckon Bangladesh can chase anything around 280.

But we have a history of being 58 all out when victory is nigh.

I'd like to see a bit more of Phillips and Worker, just glad this might lead to the dead weight finally getting dropped.
 
Where is Grant Elliot? The batsman who could play under pressure. Don't see him on the Kiwi line-up for sometime now.
 
NZ's middle order and lower order is why they don't deserve to qualify.

No idea how we got close to beating Aus, they're far better than this NZ side.

You got close because australia's batting isn't that great either, they got henriques coming at 4, head and maxwell are explosive but don't inspire the same confidence, warner and smith are the only 2 reliable guys in their team in terms of batting.
 
If Santner isn't scoring runs, I'd like to see them give Ish a chance.

Is this a common thread among teams these days?
The only reliable guy in India is Kohli.
The only reliable guys in Australia are Warner and Smith.
The only reliable guy in Pakistan is Sharjeel (or Babar).
etc.
 
This is an awful ending by Kiwis. Should have put 300 easily aftee 38.

They deserve it for giving duds so many opportunities.

Rest of the world knows guys like Ronchi and Broom aren't international standard.

Sarjeel was never reliable, and neither is babar, pakistan don't have a single reliable batsman, England is great in this though, even they have unreliable batsmen but they got so many of them from top to no. 9 no. 10, that any 2-3 batsmen click and they put on an above par score.
 
Everything changed due to that one run out of Kane Williamson.

As soon as Kane Williamson goes, NZ start collapsing.

Happened in the first match against Australia, happened during the chance against England too and here again today.

You still got a very average target to score and win the match. Why do upset?
 
Santner cost us a few runs by trying to do it himself, should have gotten Southee on strike.

Santner can't bat to save his life.
 
It's in between score, probably both sides would have liked 15 run in their favor.

Bangladesh wil cruise it. Conditions looks pretty good and the sun is out, I can't see NZ winning unless Bangladesh choke.
 
Bangladesh need to just see off the first few overs on this pitch if they do + keep wickets in hand should win
 
If India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh qualify for semis, that would be the best thing for an Indian fan, 3 out of 4 asian teams in semis for a tournament in England, plus we'll get an easy semi opponent in bangladesh in the semis :yk, ah such a beautiful dream :ashwin

This is our 2nd QF type match - first one didn't go well while chasing. :(

Don't think it'll be that easy, because of the uneven bounce on the track, but unless new ball makes it 3 down in first 10 overs, we should chase it. Tamim is due a failure & today tail is a bit longer - 9, 10 & Jack last time didn't survive Strac's one over :(

This BD commentator is one of the worst I've heard, his voice is annoying.
 
Sabbir is more style than substance. Very rarely does he ever produce. Needs to be dropped for someone more deserving.
