ICC CT 2017 : Group B | South Africa [299/6] beat Sri Lanka [203] by 96 runs

Hilarious that the commentators for the global feed had no idea who Sir Trevor MacDoughnut was! The British cameramen kept covering him, to no avail!

I'm still chuckling.

how was Ab's form in recently concluded Eng-Sa series? Was he good or continued his IPL performance?

Such a soft dismissal when there was no need for it. AB should be locked in a room and be shown KW's innings yesterday.

That's Okaish by his usual standards given England have a crap bowling unit. Hope he comes into form soon.

Why are you watching this? Aren't you supposed to watch the old 1900 tapes of test cricket at this time?

Sri Lanka bowling extremely well here. I felt they were the easiest in our group but hello, they look up for it..

Bangladesh was 223/2 by 40th over. SA 223/3 by 40th over . Tamim had to cop so much criticism. This is against a rubbish bowling attack.

South Africa gonna struggle to get 300 now unless Amla gets a move on

I can't play VHS tapes on my gramophone.

I'm watching because I'm fairly convinced that in the next four or five matches a wicket is going to fall.

This can be a match losing hundred if sa don't finish with 310 plus. Very strange pattern is emerging even good teams are finishing extraordinarily poor in last ten overs without any major reason, so strange.

Pradeep and Lakmal have shown that good intensity will bring you wickets. Cricket does not always need to be played on green wickets to assist the seamers, they should also need to learn to bowl well.

Pitch I think is a lot slower than Amla is making it look.

Aleem's Dar not wasting time with SL behind in the over rate aswell :))

Wristy player like AMla should have had no problem picking singles at will for a sustained period. He was being ultra cautious to get to his 100

Not really. The pitch isn't conducive for stroke making. If Amla struggled, there's no hope for others.

When did he attempt to play stroke to know that it was not conducive to stroke play. He never attempted for a long period. He didn't try to rotate strike

As happened in the last two matches as well, teams are struggling to hit out in the last 10 despite having solid foundations. I wonder is it due to the extra man on the boundary in the last 10.
