ICC CT 2017 | Pakistan v South Africa | 7th June, 2017 | Birmingham | Pakistan innings

I am very close close to calling Babar a soft batsman, but I am also hopeful that he will deliver today.

I think, PAK should approach this one as a Test match start because ball is moving in air - Mian won't last long, though his record against SAF is good. There is enough depth, as long as asking doesn't reach 7+
 
Hafeez is the definition of nothing player, how the hell he is in top order for 10 years??? :facepalm:
 
The gates have been opened, that was as much aggression as you could see from Pakistan tonight.

Hafeez - the biggest bottler the game has ever seen - will take AA's game to a whole new level with his relentless tuk-tuk until the RRR climbs up forcing him to accelerate and getting perished in the same pursuit.

Guy is averaging 50 in list A for a reason. It was his debut so give him a break. He has shown talent for ODI cricket

Honestly I'd much rather Professor open with Fakhar if and only if he can prove to be useful with the ball every game. That's the best option for now, though if Professor fails in 4-5 consecutive games, then I'd call up Umar Amin and if not him, then Sahibzada Farhan.

His selfishness needs to be punished, there is no good in having such a self interested player in the team and lets be real there is little chance of him getting to 2019

Babar has had a couple of slow starts. Don't fall into the mold of your seniors bud, you're much better than that.

He deserves all credit, if he can survive 92 balls here.
 
Pak back in the shell. Wow they can't rotate the strike even if their life depends on it.
 
Pakistan would be in huge trouble if it wasn't for Fakhar's inning. Too bad these players have Azhar's mindset rather than Fakhar's.
 
Saw Morris bowl in the England series and wasn't impressed. However Pakistan have a knack of making average bowlers look like serial killers.

Yeah that's true, though I'm willing to give him a final few games as opener (only because he provides utility with his bowling), I really won't have any complaints if he's dropped right this moment.
 
two gifted wickets by PAK batsmen. Might sound harsh but the decision making is absolutely shocking. You can almost predict when these batsmen are going to play risky shots.
 
When was the last time 3 maidens in a row were played?
 
Fakhar got us out of our Auqaat..our auqat is watching these pathetic tukk tukk players who have learned only tuk tuking through out the last pathetic 5 years.
 
Babar is looking tense, no feet movement, he is going to give away soon...

If Pak lose a wicket, then apply it and send in someone like Imad or Amir to play a cameo
 
Its ok,shouldn't panic,and just go for singles not do anything stupid.
 
Lads, the Edgbaston Test was last year.

Ironically when you should've been doing all this blocking on Day 5...
