Love how some posters seem to think this has happened overnight. This has long been in the planning- the timing of the official confirmation is mere political window dressing. Would have thought that was obvious...

Giles Clarke rubbed a few people up the wrong way when he was at the ECB, but he deserves credit for his role in bringing cricket back to Pakistan. He seems to have put in a lot of work to making this happen.
