Pakistan was a better team in the first match. Eventually, Pakistan lost to the brilliance of a single player. The batters with the good technique have succeeded in this tournament. So it’s important for Babar to come to his term and light up the tournament.

This entire team has two batsmen.
Rizwan, who has no technique, no quality and no style. ... he just manages to make some runs mostly on cross shots towards midwicket.

And then Baber, who is not an all round quality stroke maker. He is a very limited player when it comes to versatility.

Yes, he makes strokes that are super pleasing to the eye, but almost all those balls are pitched in his hitting zone and on his favorite areas.

Soon as something is out of his comfort zone, he becomes a walking wicket. And this is the same problem with ALL current Pak batters. All are extremely limited and only good in limited spectrum.

Not really!!!! India was never out of the match. Its not like they lost 8 wickets. They only lost 4 wickets so lost was expected.

I know this may ruffle feathers, but I’m willing to give Haider a chance after what he did for us Vs NZ in the final game.

And I don’t think Fakhar is a middle order slogger. You can’t just plug a batsman wherever. Fakhar the man should slot in only if Shan is dropped and into the top order, ideally as opener.

You could say Fakhar should play for Asif Ali, but Asif needs to be benched for a fast bowler- hopefully Hasnain.

That means there’s no room for Fakhar unless Shan is dropped after riding his luck vs India.

Well, every team has a few weakness but a team can do better by being more resourceful. I don't understand why everybody is persuading the team to play like England. It's already too late. Pakistan will do better by playing to their strength.
Babar can bat at 3 and play to his strength(i.e. to play throughout and attack with intent whenever possible. More importantly bail the team out of the tough situation). I'd like to see an opening pair of Shaan and Fakar (Give them confidence and back them to take more risk but with awareness).

WACA is one of the very few Aussie pitches that is truly fast and pacey. If Pak bats first, I wouldn't be surprise to see our batting line falling like flies.
