that's what I first thought, the yuvraj comparisons aren't too far off either.Looks a bit Kohli’sh style wise.

Wow... India Couldn't capitalize on great start and they are thinking about winning U19

The ages of the Indian and Bangladeshi players seems legit.
All of them look tiny and have as much muscle as you'd expect from school kids.
That Ishan guy looks like a father of 3....But I can see why you would say that amandeep.
I was reading 147KM, 149Km ...from Indian U19 pacers ... must be bowling slowly on this track.
Most of these kids are skinny and have little to no muscle. That Ishan guy looks like a father of 3....But I can see why you would say that amandeep.
Those were on indian technology speed guns ahmedwaqas92

I know it's u19 but still this ishan is bowling at 122ks
That's just one thing, they don't really looks over the age of 19 from their build to facial features. They look like schoolkids.Having muscle doesn't mean a person is overage, Plenty of teenagers have muscles while many 20+ guys are scrawny. Doesn't really mean anything.
That's another thing, it doesn't look like most of them have stopped growing yet.Not trying to be rude but Indians and Bangladeshis are very short IMHO (not that I'am too tall myself but) our boys do look 6ft+ on average at the U-19 level and then we have blokes like Shaheen Shah. Just need a proper system to make our boys go through (like a system in NZ) and we should produce amazing athletes in future Inshallah

Some of the greatest bowlers and batsmen ever have been under 6 foot (Sachin, Ponting, Lara, Kohli, Dhoni, Sanga, Bradman, Steyn, Waqar, Marshall etc.).A very important thing nonetheless, a 6Ft+ height does correlate (historically) to cricketers & athletes being successful (barring a few cases of course)

Fair enough, 5'7 and below is too small for a fast bowler tbh.A Google search for Waqar is showing something else ref below:

Marshall and Styen are both around 5'10/5'11 so 1/2 inches leeway is accepatble, the kids coming off the today from the countries in question seem somewhere around 5'6ish to 5'8ish which is just very short for a pro athelete (especially if you're a bowler) - Pace isn't eveything! Bilawal Bhatti clocks 145 eyes closed yet gets carted around for fun even in domestics.
My response was more in line towards the bowlers.
Waqar is 6 foot and Steyn is 5' 11"
You don't see too many bowlers being sucessful around height of 5' 7" , you need exceptional talent to do well in test cricket otherwise. Steyn and Marshall are rare examples.
Oh man! I was excited that our system was working.![]()

It happened in the CT, I think in 2015 WC and now again. I'm not saying the fixtures are predecided or favouring India, just saying India gets lucky to meet BD in these tournaments in crunch games which is essentially a free pass to the next round.
You do know Bangladesh is a much better under-19 team than national team? Infact they beat India in Asia cup.

I wouldn't go by the looks though. I've studied with Afghans and they , even at 19, look like grown men.
Bangladeshis and most Indians age much slower than Pakistanis/Afghans.
Nagarkoti again clocked 90mph. I wonder if anyone has bowled quicker in this WC.
People who are saying India gets the easy eid should keep in mind that they top their group stage . They topped the World Cup 2015, champions trophy 2013 and this event in their group . That’s why they get the easy rides . Maybe if Pakistan decided to do the same they will face Bangladesh as well
Forget this World Cup. I don't think i've seen anyone clock 149 kph in any U-19 World Cup.
India have peaked too eaely (hopefully), will get their bad game against Pakistan in sha Allah!
Alzari joseph did it if i remember correctly. Infact Rabada came close too.
Yeah those two names and one of the Overton brothers are the only ones i can think of who possibly clocked that high.
