Babar's statement after toss. It looks like only Fakhar is given responsibility to win matches, all other batsman will be cheerleaders:

"Babar confirms he would have batted first. One change, Shadab in for Hasan Ali. "We are looking forward to Fakhar's innings, we are enjoying his batting. We will try our best, and let's see."
 
Butler smiled and smirked like Rizwan before telling Babar he’s going to bat first

Jadoo is 25 years of serving Pak cricket.
 
Pakistan’s top score batting first is 280 in this World Cup, yet people believed we might win by 287 runs lol
 
Babar has failed as a leader and as a batsman.
If he is bit of shame left he should resign from captaincy.
But I think he is not "sharamful"

Should have played him earlier in the WC, maybe some results could have been different. Ab kya faiyda
 
Come on Pakistan lets beat England if we go home lets go home with a win. Lets elimnate England from the champions trophy haha
 
Why are so many Pakistanis in celebratory mode? We haven't done well in World Cup since 1999.
This is not just Babar's fault although he's a part of the problem
 
Pakistan can still kick England out of the Champions Trophy if they thump them. Lots to play for and let's hope the boys can smash England here. The smirk will turn into an embarrassing facade.

Butter choose to bat first because it increase their chances of winning. Sports is all about the mental aspect as well.

By breaking the opponents belief and plan you demoralize them.
 
Pakistan had 8 matches to improve NRR in variety of ways. They missed every opportunity (including not batting out 50 overs)
 
What a spoilsport by England. Ruined my Saturday. I was hoping for a exciting day of attacking cricket. Pakistan going all guns blazing with nothing to lose. Expected fireworks from Fakhar, Shaheen :(

Just hope England score 500 and beat this Babar friend Xi by 550 runs. Babar and Shadab will stay until 2027 if we win or loose by narrow margin.

Looks like BCCI/ICC have tried their best to get Pak into the semis with this pitch. Too bad they couldn't control the toss :rabada2

Nothing will happen. PSL is around the corner. All will be forgotten stating don;t have enough time with team and captain experiment just like 2021.
 
Sums up Babar's campaign this WC. He cound not even win the toss to keep Pakistan in contention, albeit mathematically!
Now it's the deadest of the dead rubber. Nothing for both team except some consolation. Kinda feel bad for him, looks like a likeable chap for us the neutrals.

Better switch back to the other match; hoping some Nagin dance destroys Kangaroo's momentum into the KO.
 
I think, best for PAK is to set for just a win here - 250 on board, it won’t be easy.
 
Morgan: Mountain to climb for Pakistan

"They will probably feel as if they've left a couple of games out there. They've played some brilliant cricket throughout the tournament, more than England, yet find themselves fifth with an absolute mountain climb today.

BCCI have gone out of their way to help PAK to get into semis. Gave a spongy bounce pitch to SL for NZ match in Bangalore as well but SL batted like brainless chickens .

Now, a slow, low Eden wicket to neuter English sloggers .
 
Pakistan still have a chance if they bowled England under 50 runs, then they can score 50 in 2 overs as fakhar zaman is there

Rauf opening the bowling for the first time this WC. Maiden, followed by an expensive over it seems
 
Hopefully last odi game for Haris Rauf, shadab, imam, Usama, Nawaz, hassan ali type of player and last game for babar as captain and last game for all these cartoon of coaches you had sack them all that's the least they deserve
 
Aside from the wides by Rauf, literally perfect bowling by Rauf and Shaheen, this is what we needed 5 games ago.. not now

Strange why Pakistan has never experimented with Rauf with the new ball? He is getting the ball to seam at 150 km/hr
 
Weakest bowling attack in memory. They couldn't get England out for under 240 if their life depended on it.
